It's a sad situation, but I do t think it could of really been avoided. You could of been with her, but that doesn't sound like a very healthy relationship.

Hi /adv/, my mum calls me ugly and keeps pestering me to get a haircut and shave my beard. However, while I wouldn't say I look great, I think I look okay, and I don't want bother shaving all the time. How do I convince her it's my business how I look? I tried, but she just keeps telling me I look like a homeless bum, and it's a disgrace to our family, etc. Wat do?

Hey /adv/ so I just recently moved to a new city and for the past half year have been teaching myself to live alone, moving up in a job and generally becoming an adult. But I have been crushingly alone through this. Cut to this week and on tinder I get a match with a girl who works for a company next to mine. She tells me she always found me very attractive and we hit it off through text and next time I see her at work I invite her to the going away barhop me and some co workers are having and she agrees. Also we text a lot and in general things are flowing. Today I invited her out for lunch and she agrres . I clock out and we go to a cafe and there city conversation was admittedly a little awkward and there were silences but then things pick up and I become comfortable as we're sharing stuff about our lives and I'm laughing. Then this co worker cock blocks by sitting on our table and I know this guy likes her. But I stay composed and use him as a prop to open up more conversation. Anyway I got up to leave and she did too so it wasn't all bad. But during the end she revealed that she plans to move back home until at least September for a new job. I'm really confused about this. As it is my life is complicated and I know I don't have any energy to put towards anything but a sure thing. So now I'm not sure if I should text her and be direct like "what do you want from this" or "you should CME to my house before you move at the end of the month". Its such a sudden move that I don't know what she wanted to get out by revealing her feelings. Is a text good enough? Should we talk about this before I keep my invitation to her for tommorow open?

I somehow did this to myself in an inflatable bounce house today. I think I came down really hard on the ball of my foot and twisted my toes back. It hurt, but it wasn't severe. Still felt sore some hours later, but not as bad.
Just now I took off my socks and had a look at it (some 8-9 hours since the event), and it's pretty red/purple right where the joint is. It's very slightly painful when I walk (right at the point in my stride where I "toe off"), and I really feel it if I flex my toes.
I'm tentatively planning on seeing my family physician tomorrow. Just wanted some context on this. I'm not super concerned, but I don't want some obnoxious little foot pain or joint problem years down the road because I didn't take it seriously.

Hey guys, second post about the same girl.
Basically, I really like her and we have a lot in common. We're very good friends and she's started to warm up to my company recently and open up. However she is still in the process of recovering from her ex leaving her for no reason after a seven year relationship and taking all their friends with him. Keep in mind, this was in the first week of November and she still acts like she's getting over him and I can tell that she's been through a rough few months.

If you're unhappy with your weight, there's plenty of options to help work on yourself. Talk to your doctor, if you have one- maybe consider therapy if you feel your issues are severe enough to warrant concern.

Self help is trash, just a heads up- it's a good tool to use along side therapy, but that's at the discretion of your therapist.
Try to find a place that will give you free counseling. Are you in school or anything?

.... I got the apartment and I'll be moving this Friday. Here's the thing, I was served with an eviction notice and to appear in court that same day. The sheriff told me I could either come or get out the place before the 27 and not worry about it . Try to start by figuring out what you CAN do. You've made it this far so you have some skills whether you're aware of it or not. While doing that, if you notice that there's a skill or thing you'd like to learn about, do some research - google and libraries are your friend. There are things you can do independently, without any interaction with others, to improve yourself and make you both more capable and more knowledgeable.
Social anxiety can be really difficult, especially when the mistakes you make while socializing only make you double down on your anxiety. All I can suggest is putting yourself into social situations on a regular basis, like going to a club or a meetup. You'll meet some weird people, you'll meet jerks, you'll meet some cool people as well, and most importantly you'll condition yourself to being around people. The anxiety may not ever fully go away, but it will become more manageable over time.
Penis size is an obstacle but it's not insurmountable. I don't know how big it is so I'm not going to comment on its "efficacy," but a penis is a penis. Women like big dicks and they like cute dicks too. And if you're patient there will be dick transplants in the future, as degenerate as that might seem, so if you're really jonesing for a bigger member it will one day be within your grasp. But perhaps by then you will have become more comfortable and confident in yourself. Small dicks have certain advantages that you could learn to work with.
