I think I've finally snapped into full apathy regarding women and dating
I'm pretty sure I'm never going to find a girl I like who also likes me back so lately I've just been dull to the idea of going places to meet women.
I get invited to the bar by my friends and my first thought is "I could go there waste money to get drunk and then come home, or I just stay home and spend that money on video games for guaranteed enjoyment"

Recently I tried to dim my tinnitus down by using a program called Reaper and playing the highest frequency at a bearable volume to try to address my tinnitus. My ears didn't hurt after and for a small point my tinnitus did go.
However the tinnitus did return and now I find that when using my audio devices such as laptop or video games, the sound can seem slightly or distinctly louder in either my right or left ear depending on the pitch. Also when I do a low hum, it feels like my right ear is slightly "blocked" while doing so.
I am guessing my hearing...

of course you should go to the doctor for your hearing. They will most likely send you to an audiologist.
On a side note, do you play music? Or go to a lot of shows without any protective hearing? Invest in some ear plugs. And I don't mean the dinky little foam plugs. I mean the one $40-$100 ones. The ones that cut out decibels but still give you the sound.

I have played music but my hearing was always fine as I kept my Ipod on 50% max handicap threshold. I never went to loud concerts with the exception of a handful (I can count on one hand) discos and such when growing up.

Am i suffering from a midlife crisis? I'm in my mid 40's and i enjoy listening to modern music especialy indy rock bands. I also listen to hard rock bands from the 60's 70's and some 80's bands and even experimental, and insduatrial music. But i also like music by M83. Does this mean i should stick by listening to music from my generation and even my dad's generation and stay away from music by milllenials are listening to?
