Alright /adv/, I've recently come out of a long term relationship and have seen this girl I met online a few times. She said i should message her when I'm next off work and we can do something and maybe get a room. She's a bit mental and a hardcore stoner, not long term i don't think but i want to get laid. So my issue is with the weed, I'm 24 and have never done it before and have heard stoned sex is awesome so i kind of want to give it a go. My ex was quite a drinker but i wasn't, I always knew when I'd had enough. So with the weed I don't want to over do it, I have family members that rely on it and it saddens me and has always put me off it. I just want some general first time weed taking advice really.

Ok /adv/ I come to you with a petty problem.
At work, I keep a small container of gum under the desk. I need gum habitually because I have halitosis. Like you don't understand my breath is horrible all the time, no matter how much I floss, brush, or tongue scrape (yes I do these at work too). I am ok with sharing it with the 3 other people in my department. I know that only one of those three chews gum enough to make it any sort of habit. The other 2 people don't chew gum much. The gum goes down in alarmingly fast levels, too fast for just me to go through with the occasional nab from the coworker I just mentioned.
I have reason to believe it's not a customer who is stealing my gum without permission, because customers generally never go under the desk at my department (I work retail). I think it's an employee because

If your breath really is that bad constantly, then you might have some sort of health problem. That, or you only think it's worse than it really is. As for the gum situation, the solution should be obvious.

Because my uniform's pockets are too small to take it with me (as the whole container). The gum i usually buy is in a round-ish container, about the size of the cup holders in your car. It won't fit in my pocket.
Also I like sharing gum with people of my department.

Am I the only one who doesn't enjoy texting on facebook? I am bad at it, unless I know a person very well, and none of such people uses fb, duh.
The whole "sending funny or cute pics to people to bond" is beyond my understanding, I don't get it. Those people who send the same cute pic to 50+ of their friends to start conversations. How do you reply to it, it's like the sender is checking if you want to talk with him and that's it.
Gosh, i lost my school friends, because they never talk about real things, only send links, kitties, crack meme jokes. Is it everywhere?
Then at night they are crying to their friends about how lonely and abandoned they are, I know it.
The only "social network" I used for a while was infamous tumblr, because it was about stuff you like and nothing else.

I feel the same way about my mom but i know why. Its because i think too quickly compared to her and we have nothing in common. She takes way too long to explain things to me. I am not in any form of contact with her for over a year, and am in a quite serious relationship with someone else now.
I just happened to see it on Facebook. I am not Facebook friends with her anymore but I saw something posted by someone else.
We had been deep enough into a relationship that I had met her mother, and got along well with the mother.
Am I a shitty person if I don't contact my ex and say, like, "sorry about your mom"?
