Hey guys,
I have Psychosis NOS (similar to schizophrenia but missing one or more key elements necessary for that diagnosis). I'm on anti-psychotics and they help me a lot, but lately I haven't been taking them.
The reason I haven't taken them is because I've gotten more and more ashamed of having a mental illness, and don't want to do anything that would acknowledge my illness. You don't seem psychotic to me. You seem to coherent and logical right now. When I was going through psychosis I was running through the forests at night barefoot with police helicopters cashing after me babbling about demons to myself before they hauled me off to the looney bin for 6 months, there was no time to be sitting down and talking to /adv/ like this.
So please pardon me if you went through something similar, but psychosis doesn't last and is just a temporary lapse. This happened over 3 years ago and I have been off meds for nearly as long. So maybe...

What do you do if you have a large social difference between you and a girl you like?
We're physically and intellectually compatible, but she just seems to have so much more going on than me socially.

Hi sophomore at an American college here. I'm taking calculus 3 next semester, but i haven't taken calculus 1 or 2 in college. I've only taken AP Calculus BC and got a 5 my senior year of high school. What concepts should I brush up on so I'm ready to take Calc 3?

I've had the same argument and both sides of the discussion have merit. However, ultimately I dropped it because I trust my gf (soon to be fiance) enough.
If you stand to inherit money, perhaps talk to a lawyer and see if there is some loophole around marriage for inheritance. Perhaps have your parents write in a will that it goes to only you (Idk if this is possible in your state, but it's worth looking into).

Recently, I've just started to smell bad really quickly and I'm not sure why. I can shower and then begin to smell rancid within 4 hours? I'm /fit/ so it's not from being overweight. I clean my trench when I shower and put on deodorant. I used to work up a smell after about a day or two without shower, but now I have to shower probably 3 times a day to not smell, and that's just too much for me to have time for and handle. Any advice?
