So like, a girl i've been talking to for weeks just turned me down. Because I'm not Christian....we would literally talk on the phone till the wee hours of the mornings and she's said she loves talking to me and being around me...hell there's even attraction on both ends. We'd flirt constantly, playful sexual banter all the works. I honestly feel like we're perfect for each other. Never had such a strong conneciton....Idk why but this rejection hits extra hard. I'm not like hardcore atheist or anything, I respect all beliefs and don't ever bring up religion myself. She did once and i was just honest and said I'm an ex-christian...that's it. I remember the first time I met the girl I am currently dating. I tagged along with some of my friends to her 21st birthday. I had never spoken or heard about this girl prior to this, while at her party people were giving speeches. There were a ton of people there.
I was just talking with some of my friends that I came with and about 5 other random guys. They were all talking about how amazing this girl was, how they ALL had huge crushes on her, how guys dont just like her they fall inlove with her. This is no exaggeration it is literally what they were saying them, Now some of them were significantly more attractive than me. Were intelligent and overall great people. I just remember thinking to myself jeez these guys are really strange about this girl, almost obsessive and I told them to never put a girl on a pedestal. They all just looked at me like I was an idiot. What would I know.
Even in the speeches her friends were giving they joked about how much attention from guys she gets.
Anyway I just remember laughing to myself thinking surely this girl cant be that great. I bump into her and I casually start chatting to her later on in the night, I wasnt trying anything as i just thought she gets so much attention from everyone else why would she choose me anyway. Just wanted to see what the fuss was about, so I was pretty much being myself. Confident because I didnt really give a fuck what she thought about me, I just was curious.
We started chatting, found out we shared a few hobbies. Messaged her like two or so days later on facebook about something we spoke about, later asked her on a coffee date and well shit just happened.
Pretty funny how someone as average as me landed the most fucking beautiful, intelligent and funny girl that I have ever met.

Hmm, well. I wouldn't recommend overdosing on pills, because usually you just end up in hospital for a bit.
A big fall would both definitely kill you and be painless. Just make sure it's a huge fall. Doing this on a sidewalk would be kind of a dick move, so I think you should do it somewhere without making anybody uncomfortable.
It's not that much to clean up if you do this, as it's not like your whole body shatters. There'll just be some blood. This type of thing is just another day at the work for the people cleaning it up, so don't feel too bad. They get paid.
I hope you find a solution to your problem before finally doing it. I'm trying to avoid it at the moment. I study all day every day to make myself not think about it. When I'm stuck on something or during the weekends, I usually drift towards depressive and suicidal thoughts, but they don't last as long anymore.

My dad is one of the most antisocial people I know. He has made it clear that he goes out of his way to ruin relationships with his friends and family. I can't even speak to him on the phone.
He retired a couple of months ago, and all he does now is watch movies and complain about how the world is going to shit.
I bought some tickets to a convention related to a hobby that he's really invested in, and he chickened out because he "didn't want to sit through that car ride" and wasn't sure if he could smoke whenever he wanted.
There's a certain point that you have to just let them grow. They took a shit in their own bed, and now they have to sleep in it.
Him 'making things clear' is a call for help/attention. If your really is going through a bad stretch, the best you can do is to make him like are happy and believe in him. It's about raising his self-esteem. The worst you can do is not let him work through it.
What does it mean of someone keeps joking that they are in love with you? This girl I know through mutual friends keeps making jokes about marrying me and stuff like that. Does she actually like me or is she just mocking me?
When does she do it? When you two are alone, around others, both? That can be a pretty big indicator of whether or not she's dropping hints about anything.

I knew my GF was on the flirty side when I began to date her. She and I are both bartenders, it comes with the territory.
That being said, you have to set boundaries. Either keep living uncomfortably with it or tell your SO what is and (more importantly) what isn't okay.
Her and I got into it one night at a party after I felt she took it too far with another guy. She had never had a boyfriend nut up and tell her to calm down in the past, so it was new for her. Took me a while to realize her nature, and it took her a while to realize she was overstepping boundaries. We're still working on it, but we're much better off now that I told her.
