I recommend that you ask her about boundaries. It is a very important discussion which cannot wait. The longer you put off this conversation the more you are likely to randomly hurt her by mistake. The inverse is true, she also risks hurting you if she pressures you toward something you aren't prepared for. Communication is very important. Ask her about her boundaries and discuss your own.

So I just met up with someone to cheat on my gf (travelled a few hours actually), and had sort of accepted that I was a bad person for doing so.

I just moved in with a friend and his GF to help them pay rent(their last roomie left 2 days before rent was due with no warning). The only stipulation was that they have a 10 month old baby. Growing up my mom had an in home preschool and I learned a lot seeing someone working with kids.
