Ok, so, I've been haunting the adv/ for a little while now, posted my story in a few threads, and haven't gotten any good responses yet, so let's start a good idea/rage thread in the hopes of attracting someone smarter than me, shall we?
Just to sum up my story; started dating mother of three, fell in love, started paying her bills, got her preggo, 'ohshit, gotta get a house', got a good job, had baby(boy no. 4, my first/last/only child, love him so much), lost job 2weeks before Christmas, got another better job, worked out for two years, started school, get a letter from landlord/mortgage holder that says 'dear anon, we filed for bankruptcy, you're fucked', full time 7day third shift job + full time college + now looking for new home/lawyer, lose job, get another job, cycle continues.

People thought I was a bit crazy, because I was a bit crazy. So I could get away with telling someone that their chronically (and laughably needlessly) elevated coritsol levels were causing their hippocampus to atrophy over time, every time I saw them within the course of the day.

My boyfriend spends a lot of time playing video games. I originally bought this game for him so we could play together but now he just plays all day and all night long with his team and blows off our plans.
I've tried to get acquainted with his teammates but it's a "boys only" sort of club with a bunch of gamer guys. It sounds like you have reasonable complaints. Be honest with him on how you feel and try to focus on that and don't put the blame on him. You don't want him to get defensive, but you should be able to share your feelings with him. If he can't do that, then he's not worth your time.

K so there's this guy in college I've known for like 3 years now. We were never that close, we just often talked in college and that was pretty much it. I understand what women want in theory: a man that can get any girl he wants but chooses THEM because they are just so amazing. In other words, a man of high social standing; someone popular who will contribute to their own social status.
But this is worst than just dating guys based on their looks. It's dating guys because it's socially convenient, leaving those that would be genuinely loyal and who love unconditionally to be bitter rejects.

So I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed in a few days. When I went to the place for the examination or whatever the assistant lady referred to the drug(s) I'll be on as "truth serum" which nearly made me shit a brick right then and there. I'm really freaked out that I'll blab about something to my mother. Anyone have any firsthand experience with someone who's just had their wisdom teeth removed? I know that everyone reacts to drugs in different ways but any info helps.

Just because something is difficult doesn't mean that you shouldn't do it.
This is what I do:
- Every two weeks or so I go someplace new. A concert, a ball game, a hiking trail, a park, a meetup. It doesn't have to be expensive.
- I walk up to a girl and ask, "Can you take my picture for my online dating site?"
