I've never taken drugs or even smoked a cigarette. I'm 20 years old. I enjoy going out with my mates and I enjoy a drink every now and then but only on appropriate occasions, they all smoke weed, take tabs and occasionally do coke. You should definitely try Weed at least once. See how you feel about that, and depending on how it goes, make your decision on other drugs. Do know that basically all drugs effect you differently but Weed is pretty safe and tame comparably

The degree itself isn't problematic, but your GPA is a bit of an issue. I suggest you just try and get a job, your GPA suggests you're not the best at studying, so you're probably better off in 'the real world' instead of trying to get another qualification

I was in computer science for a year and a half, which I suck at, so that's part of why it's low. The other issue was being depressed and anxious, I didn't have a good group of friends until basically my last year of school and I was a virgin until a few weeks ago. I feel a lot more confident now but mostly I just want to be self-sufficient without being alone all the time. Step 1) Get new friends. Once people have decided to shit on you, they'll always look down on you no matter how much you change.
Step 2) Mimic people. I'm not talking about mocking them in the way that these guys do. I mean to copy the mannerisms and general attitudes of the people around you so that they see you as "one of us." Having an individual personality is fine but don't be so different from a group that they can construct a caricature.

It's crossed my mind a few times since. Only when things get hard.
The key is seeking help when needed and understanding how much you hurt yourself and others when you attempt it.
After crying wolf a dozen times or so you will isolate yourself guaranteed. Being institutionalized can become additive for people.
It goes away, but the weird thing is it's pretty slow and you won't notice it going away until it's practically gone and you're like "huh, i haven't thought about that much at all in the past year."

My school therapist/counselor said out of the blue that this would be our last session. I wasn't really prepared for it. Feels pretty bad, is this typical? I mean, do therapists normally give you a little bit of a warning before breaking things off or no?
If you feel you still have issues to be resolved then I recommend finding a private cognitive behavioral therapist and start seeing him.
They should usually give you a small buffer but yeah, it's not uncommon for them to cut people off kinda-abruptly, as fucking crazy as that sounds.
School therapists are responsible for taking care of a stupid amount of people on a surface level. They are not there for in depth therapy. Can you imagine?
That said, a lot of schools are really shitty about directing their students to alternative resources. Go to your counseling department and ask if they can direct you to any full-time therapists in the area. (This might be pricey as fuck.) If you can't...

have you ever considered just enlisting in the navy? You could always go in for 4 years then when you're a bit older and wiser use your GI bill to pay for college then go to OCS. Or even stay in and get in an enlisted to officer program.

oh also, let me tell you that I dropped out of college and yeah things were very tense at home for quite a while, especially since my parents felt blindsided by it and felt that I had lied to them on top of everything else. But eventually they did get over it. A big thing was showing them that I wasn't just dropping out of school to become a pathetic NEET and got a job not long after leaving school. They weren't the type to kick me out of the house, maybe your parents are different idk, but I would definitely recommend coming up with a plan for how you're going...
