My parents want me to finish this year of university before getting a job. They want me to focus on studying 100%. I want to get a job now since I'm 23. They are a couple of psychos that can't be reasoned with and threaten to leave me or kick me out if I don't do what they want.
What should I do?

Girlfriend too touchy feely with friends. Male friends. There's one in particular she always mentions, that she hangs around a lot, greets him sometimes by saying ''hi handsome/pretty/cutie'', play games with him(and me together), but in some games for example where you can interact, she does things like ''hey it's like you're slapping my butt!'' (as an example). She's touchy-feely with a lot of friends which happen to be mutual friends of mine. She's been like this for some time, even before me, but now with this particular guy(who is also a friend of mine, dude sometimes doens't even notice her shit) she's playing around. I'm getting pissed at this. Why doesn't she notice her ''jokes''? She knows i'm jealous as fuck too. I've told her sometime ago that i thought she had interest in him (before we started to date), and she said she couldn't imagine herself with him. Still, she mentions him a fucklot. She doesn't havemuch friends and likes attentions, and most of her friends are my friends longer than hers. What do? Shit is getting on my nerves.

Hey /adv/, I do not need help or your opinion of AA or NA.
I have been sober for a year, I no longer desire liquor and I am actively sponsoring two newcomers.
That said,
Im still a huge liar. I tell everyone god or a higher power has kept me sober and sane this long, but when i pray i feel nothing and its been like that since the beginning. I am scared to tell my sponsor about this because I talk about how important it is to have a higher power in order to stay sober to everyone.
Im scared because i do not want to go back and i know how important it is to have a power greater than yourself in order to achieve long term (lifelong) sobriety.
hopefully that makes sense, thank you for your input.
Many of the greatest feats in history have been done without the belief in a higher power. And I feel confident that you are plenty strong enough to stay sober for your whole life. Good luck

You need no power greater than yourself, expecting a higher power to save you sets you up for failure.
If you never found god, you never needed it from the get go.
Plenty of atheists believe in higher powers than themselves. I do. I just believe in powers that are actually real. Country, community, society, even family. Maybe you couldn't have gotten sober yourself (and maybe you could have, I don't know; there's no shame in needing help, of course) but the AA community, and perhaps your friends and family, are the ones who really helped you. Not God. He didn't do shit.

Hi /adv/ I´m a sucker for deep relationships most of the time,
so I need advice on how to develop strong relationships,
or how to grow the ones I have,
I´m not a shy person but I´m starting to see although that I talk to many people I never feel really connected to them as a friend or something like that.
So, what tips should I follow into building these strongs bonds with people around me basically?

I've found, that for me personally, being yourself and being there are the two key factors in making real, long-lasting friendships. It's through shared memories that people become friends, so make time to do things with other people.

So this neighborhood cat usually chills near our backdoor on our deck. She was pretty skinny in any case. She had been doing okay.
But this morning i found her in the small forest behind my house unable to walk. Every time she tries to use her back legs she stumbles.
She would meow all the time too, but now only makes quiet whimpers.
Any ideas? Do raccoons or squirrels attack cats?
I can't take it to the vet, I have a final exam in like two hours. Also it's not really my cat. :/

Unfortunately miracle cat cures fall outside this board's expertise. I realize that vet bills are expensive, but she's clearly sick or injured, and if you do nothing she might die -- quickly or slowly, I can't say, since I don't know what's wrong with her. If you simply can't deal with the responsibility and expense of taking care of her right now, which I do understand, you could at least contact a local shelter (if there are any reputable ones near you), animal control, or possibly a nearby rehabilitator. You can easily google for any of those and even if they can't provide treatment, then might be able to point you towards someone who can, or give you a better idea of what to do next.
As the former owner of countless amounts of cats there is a really good chance she was attacked by a stray dog, another cat, or in some cases a coyote.( all of which have happened to my cats). What I also know is that stray cats that hang around usually have several other homes they hit up for food and stuff. Try putting a pic of the cat on Facebook or something and maybe someone will recognize it. Good luck on the final exam
I'm new to 4chan and was just wondering why some people on this site seem so angry, or at the very least, so willing to offend others. Especially over on /b/. You all think it's just bravado or are people on here really like that?

/b/ is literally just 4chan's kindergarten, you go there when you're first interested in the site then realize it has other boards, usually /v/ or /a/ are the first ones they go to
If you don't want people to be angry, a good start would be posting on the correct board. This isn't advice and doesn't belong here.
That said, as a courtesy, I'll answer you briefly. One, anonymity has a freeing effect everywhere; people say shit in YouTube comments they never would in real life. Two, historically, anyway, 4chan has attracted many social misfits or other people who are for whatever reason unhappy and likely to lash out. Three, as a result of point two, this site's culture has always been fairly abrasive, and this tends to self-reinforce; some new people adopt a snarkier style as a way of fitting in. There's nothing mysterious about it. Certain boards (/b/, /pol/) tend to be much harsher than others (most of the highly specialized ones.)
Now, you should really post this elsewhere if you want an extended discussion.

Do you have an actual reason to text them? Or are you just trying to say "hi" and get to know them?
Why are you texting people you don't know? If I for whatever reason was texting someone I didn't know my first text would be:
"Hey is this (name of whoever I'm texting)? This is (my name)."
And if even this text seems psychotic, I'd probably further explain how I got their number if they replied to the first text.
