Why do jobs require me to lie about myself to get the job? I like to pretend I'm opposed to this on some kind of noble, moral ground as a crusader for honesty, but really I know that I'm just a shit salesman. I can't lie about myself because everyone is gonna sniff out those lies in a second. How do I get better at "selling" (lying about) myself and get a job?

Honesty about the system can net you some decent jobs and a good boss-employee relationship.
If the boss knows from the moment you step on to his office that you are an honest guy trying your best at life, he will most likely give you a chance to prove yourself. And if you are a decent man for the job he will have no reason to hire those 30 other applicants that speak 10 different languages and somehow helped build the moon lander.
My girlfriend, soon to be wife, and I have been thinking about adopting a child for sometime now especially when she really wants to be a mother and has all sense abandoned such a dream due to her biology. I have managed to convince her to consider adoption regardless of the fact they won't be related to either of us.
My main concern is that thanks in part to her being transgender I am afraid the adoption center will refuse us when we said we want to adopt a child. I also have been thinking about adopting a child who may be dealing with gender identity issues themselves...

Why do I only attract women with mental illnesses, /adv/?
2 out of the 3 women that have ever said they liked me, tried committing suicide in the past, and the other is just fucking crazy.

I have schizophrenia, and I'm getting worse. I've been to the mental hospital 4 times in the past year on the basis of being gravely disabled and a danger to myself.
I go catatonic for long periods of time, and my meds have stopped working. At the hospital they said I was grossly disorganized and severely detached from reality. I could legit barely speak, when I spoke gibberish came out. And I wasn't even off my meds. How do I get better?

Your adjusted meds are probably helping. They don't eliminate symptoms 100 percent. Insight into your condition and the ability to make such a solid post shows that you are doing better than a lot of people diagnosed with schizophrenia.
I have been to the hospital 4 times for something dissociative or psychotic, after being hospitalized 5 times for mood instability as a kid. I feel like I'm always getting worse, but the objective facts don't actually spell it out that way.
Maybe what you're feeling is stress, and a lack of cobtrol of your condition....

along similar lines, another question:
we have a lot of friends in common- that's actually how we met. if we end up around each other, how do you keep things from becoming tense? I don't really want to be her friend, I want to be her boyfriend. I want more with her, which is why I pursued her in the first place, I felt like she was really special and different.

My experience with getting back together with exes was terrible. Chances are if things have gotten this bad even with you making an effort, it's just futile at this point.

You could still face disciplinary action. Dropping the course does not absolve you of your actions, and it doesn't mean that you won't do this again with other courses. The best thing to do here is to accept responsibility for what you did and express remorse. Do NOT try to make excuses or to shift the blame onto the professor or whatever. Stay consistent within the whole process, don't change your story.
