OP, do you why you want to be a surgeon? Do you know how much you will work, what you will be paid? Do you know what residency is like?
Consider some basic costs, how much is your college going to be? Med school? Then what's your income during residency (hint, 60k if you are lucky, 40k if you aren't). During residency, do not expect to have a life, and I mean that in the most austere way possible. Residents work 80hrs a week minimum, and depening on hours etc it may be more like 100+, all day on your feet doing really detailed work that if you fuck up will have REALLY big consequences. Are you OK being stuck at one hospital for a longer time? Medical professionals can't compare their jobs or unionize in the same way other professions can.
It is a LOT of effort for something you aren't going to get much into, with surgery being your choice. Surgeons are kinda act like the jocks of a hospital, but its not really all its portrayed to be. At it's best, when you've gotten into a better position post residency etc, you will still have shit hours, shit pay relative to other medical specialties, and shit outside life. Surgeons are also the "least intelligent" field of practiced medicine, by which I mean you're getting paid to do the manual work, not the actual thinking of it. Also, surgeons are looking right now to be the first thing to be replaced by machines in hospitals (I can attest to this, it's the field I work in).
NOW that said, if you take being a surgeon and do something interesting with it, like make a new tool , software, or procedure, you will make huge dosh, but that usually only comes with heavy specialization, not general surgery. The problem with heavier specialization is more time in residency, more costs, and harder to get into.
I am not trying to dissuade you from medicine, it gets much much more profitable the more specialized you get, but really plan out your expenses, timing, and what you actually want.

Yes. I understand all the nuances, pitfalls and tremendous workloads associated with being and becoming. As well as someone who hasn't gone through it possibly could. I know about the long hours and shit pay you receive (basically translate into minimum wage when you consider the amount of hours you work, effort and investment to get there). With all that considered I still want to be a surgeon.

I just applied and got a very nice part time job at a company I worked for before. It pays quite well and I will work there for a week. The person in charge emailed me saying that there is still vacancy and she asked me to recommend this job to others.
Most of my closest friends are busy during this period. I am now traveling abroad with a group of 10+ people from my uni. I know some of these people well but others not so well. Should I recommend this job to ALL of them? I just don't want this to become an awkward move or something.

I lie to friends to avoid hanging out. I hate being in situations where I don't know everyone, and all my friends have their circle that they hang out with.
I'm not scared of people, I can have entire conversations with complete strangers making eye contact, but for some reason, I hate situations like parties, or even being in a room with people I don't know.
I also have a fear of going on dates. I turn down almost everyone who asks me out because the mere idea makes me uncomfortable.
I honestly don't know what specifically I have an issue with, but it's getting kind of sad to keep lying to people who want to hang out, or go out with me.
If it matters, I've dealt with anxiety and self image issues since I was a teen, and had abusive parents (not trying to be a special snowflake when I say that, I'm saying so because it might be relevant).
Is there a solution to this? Is this a disorder?
Ps if you're going to reply with "grow up be a man and deal with it", trust me, I'd rather not be here asking for advice. I've tried nutting up and just "dealing with it", and the problems still exist.

The solution is to do it anyway if you want the benefits of social interaction. If you want a girlfriend or boyfriend and friends, because they're not going to be around if you neglect them. Your social life will dry up completely if you keep behaving this way. Could be autism (the eye contact thing and hating conversations), could be a personality disorder, could be something else.
If you want to go out,then go out. If you don't want to go out then don't go. I don't really see what the problem is. If you want to go out but are declining invites anyway, just stop doing what you don't want to do. Practice as much as you can. Even five minutes here and there can help. But please anon, make sure you practice correctly. Proper cadence, sitting position, fingering etc.
Also, in a few months I'd say (if you're good enough) you could start trying to learn songs by ear. Great practice to keep your notes in check. And it's fun to boot!

Learn to breath with phrases and starts of phrases. Watch yourself play in the mirror. Count rhythms. Don't discard theory as pointless; knowing and truly understanding music theory is the difference between being someone who plays music and someone who is a musician.
PATIENCE
Many only play for a few weeks to a couple of months, get frustrated that they're not seeing the results they want, and then give up.
It takes a while to master an instrument.
