Okay anons so my uncle recently moved in after suffering from a heroine addiction. He has been off heroine for a couple months and everything has been fine. A couple days ago he has been acting fucking nuts. He is claiming to see and hear people outside my home and under the house and it is very unsettling. He has been sick lately with high fevers but today his fever is gone and still claims too see and hear stuff. I came home from work today and he had the power off claiming that people were under my home stealing power.

Hello /adv/, I have a problem.
I'm in a band, but I think I'm developing feelings for the singer. I don't really want to feel this way, but we seem to have similar ideals which is usually why I start becoming attracted to a girl.
I don't want to make things weird/awkward between us by acknowledging something that may not be the case, but I don't want to have my feelings develop too far and be a depressed wreck again (it's happened before with a different girl). What should I do that's good for everyone involved?

Hi guys. So I'm 18 and I barely just got my start at dating when I was 17 during my senior year of highschool.
I lost some pretty cute girls that year because I had no idea what I was doing. But that's besides the point. Now I understand the dynamics of a date/attraction/banter/flirtation and all. Although I've never been in a relationship.
I know this might sound stupid, but what is really the importance of compatibility? I can understand why it's of importance, especially during a long term, but are there any reasons that it wouldn't matter?
Also I'm asking what to expect from a relationship so I'm not completely blind. I don't expect my first relationship to picture perfect, but I'd like to know some general roadbumps that I'm going to encounter.
I also understand that it varies because people are different, but you probably feel me at this point.

It wouldn't matter in cases of casual sex or FWB. An actual relationship isn't going to last long. Think of your friendships - how many of your long term friends would you say have drastically different views and values from you? Very few, if any, I'm willing to bed. It's the same thing in relationships - if you want it to last, being compatible is very important, otherwise points of disagreement will turn into fights and unhappiness

We really can't tell you, it really does depend on the people involved. I know people who have been together from your age for years, and I know people who have lasted mere days before breaking up. It might be great, it might not - we don't know.

Went to the dentist last Monday for the first time in almost nine years (I didn't have insurance or much money for a long time, and I've always had good teeth) due to some discomfort while chewing. They took x-rays and found three cavities, the first I've ever had- one larger one and two small ones, all on the same side. Went back last Wednesday and had them all dealt with in one two-and-a-half hour marathon session. Cut to today, four days later, and I'm having discomfort, sensitivity, and pain still whenever I chew on that side. I'm kind of freaked out and worrying that there might be something more wrong. Is this kind of aftereffect normal?
It means that the fillings need to be adjusted. Very common when you have that many done at the same time. There's no way you can tell at that time whether they are right due to all the numbness and trauma in 3 spots at once.
I had the same problem, sort of.
I have two cavities on either side of my mouth that were fixed when I was a kid. They started hurting out of nowhere, but only with certain foods. First it was one side, then it was the other. I had assumed it was because the fillings were damaged or fell out or something.
When I went to the dentist they said everything was a-ok and that I just had sensitive teeth. They told me to use a particular toothpaste every day and to come back in 4 months to see if its gotten better. One side has gotten better. The other still hurts but its better.

Why all this questions? I will probably be kicked out of college. And it wouldn't hurt as much knowing I am a retard. The catch is that I worked in the field I study for few years and have somewhat of a success. The academics are kind of a mix of easiness and difficulty. I enjoy it but the tight deadlines and 5 exams in 2 weeks are just mind numbing.
Probably it doesn't make sense to you, but this mood swings are incredible. I started out this post with bitterness and ending it by cringing at my thoughts and disgust.
