I'm so angry and stressed out right now, I hope someone will talk..
I was just at the bar with a few of my friends. We were there for a while drinking, and of course girls and sex becomes a topic of conversation. People are going around our table full of drinks just talking and joking. I'm just kind of sitting there laughing along, but not contributing anything. After a while they turned and looked at me and one of my friends say "man.. You really need to get laid, how long has it been for you?" So I said 5 years. They seemed kind of stunned and went on about "how can you go for SO LONG?? You need to use what you have man! Use it!" And they mentioned how I should be able to pick up a decent girl because I dress nice and am not a bad looking guy. One of my friends then kind of wandered off from the group while the rest talked to me. About 30min later he came back with a cute brunette girl with him. And he tried to introduce me to her and get a conversation going. I told her I didn't want to talk and she went away. He got so pissed and said that "you don't know what you are missing!!! YOU ARE 25, you'll regret this time if you don't get it while you can!! Come on dude!! Man up!" I got pissed and left.
To make matters even worse, I went outside and was texting a close female friend of mine. She asked what I was up to, and I said drinking at the bar with friends, and guess what her response was... She said "oh! I hope you have a lot of fun! Make sure to go find yourself a little hottie ;).... But make sure to be safe!! :P"
Aaaaaahhh I feel so fucking stresssssssed right now. I feel as if im like a bad person because I don't have sex. It's like everyone expects me to do it, and I'm wrong because I don't. Ok /adv/ here's the deal
I am 28 and live at home.. my mum is mentally ill and I am the only person she has to look after her. She is also dying slowly from a fatal heart defect.
My days normally involve making sure she doesn't hurt herself, make sure she takes her meds etc and cooking.
The only times I leave the house are to pay bills and buy the things we need to live, money is tight but this is the life I chose, I am however concerned with the amount of weight I've put on. I'm 5'10 and weigh about 14.5st

Working out is not how you lose weight. It takes an incredible amount of effort and time to even burn off a handful of calories. That's not realistic.
Do you know what takes around 1700 kcal per day though? Simply being alive. Your body will gladly deplete that much energy every day just to keep the lights on. Your simple challenge is to eat less than your body needs for that goal. Obviously it won't want to surrender to the Grim Reaper, so what it will do instead is turn to your fat reserves to make up the difference.

Trench warfare, if I recall correctly. The other technologies were all quite new -perhaps literally DURING the Civil War- but trench warfare didn't get big until World War I.

I'm about to purchase my very first tablet but don't know what to get and was hoping you might be able to help out. I was waiting to see what Apple was going to release but the new iPad is a huge dissapointment considering both the price and the fact it only has 2GB of RAM.
I'm currently looking at the Z4, Tab S2 and the iPad Air 2. I'd actually prefer the iPad because iOS seems more refined and the apps/games are betyer but it's almost two years old and seems a bit dated.
Any advice on what to get?
I own a Surface, I use it mostly to browse the net. If you're looking to play games more then yeah, an iPad or Android tablet would be better. In the end, it depends on your preference. What's your budget?

To be honest browsing and Youtube will be the main uses so I guess any tablet would get the job done but I'd like a high quality product with nice software.
The Air 2 is almost two years old and spec wise inferior to the alternatives from Samsung and Sony but on the other hand iOS is tailored to fit the hardware and since it's well optimized it probably performs almost equally as well.
