Any engineers on 4chan? I was thinking of choosing Aerospace Engineering for my major, but the negative growth in available jobs is concerning to me. Will I be able to get a job after I get the degree because of all the older engineers retiring or am I picking the wrong major?

I don't know very much about the job market as I'm pretty much counting on my shiny Master's degree landing me a decent position. If you don't have the opportunity to go to a good/renowned school, that may not really work out for you.

Right /adv/ so today I got hauled into a meeting at work to effectively be told as of next week my job will no longer exist.

Turns out that different role is about 3k less than what I earn now.

You're boned. What exactly do you have a disability in dude? Like I was total shit at math in highschool (D's and C's if I was lucky)... but now I'm doing well in university math... I just started doing more problems, and now I feel confident in my ability.
I would just try to study as much as possible... if you don't understand the math, just memorize how to do different types of problems. It might take longer, but you should be able to do decent.
