Recently got hired on with a local business, job ad and application mentioned drug test. All applicants were strictly walk-in only so they could feel the people out.

I've always had serious problems to socialize, when I meet new people I feel like trapped inside my body without able to mutter a single word, if I'm talked to I will at most respond awkwardly. Once I know people better I can talk more fluently and almost without problems.
Recently I was diagnosed with Asperger after some tests and sessions, before that I had been diagnosed by another doctor but I didn't want to believe it. Before that another doctor suspected it.
So anyway, I'm 22 years old and I'm two years and a half in college studying to be an english teacher, I live in a south american country, spanish is the main language here and the only one most people know. I learned English almost completely by immersion, watching shit in english, playing vidya, anime with english subtitles, etc so after failing Law school and because I suck at anything with numbers I decided to go for teaching the only skill I have.
The thing is, no matter how much you dominate your teaching subject, teaching is still a social job and thus it seems almost impossible for someone with my problems with people which seem to originate in my asperger. Should I pull out of this career? It's too late for me to go for yet another career, if I pull out of this I won't study anything else, I'll just look for a low wage job which would be like a little over 300 dollars a month here and is not even half of what's needed to live decently.
I once found a one week gig as a substitute teacher in a public school (in my country this ones have the worst of the youth) and I turned it down because I was afraid once I stepped in the class I wouldn't be able to say a word, crumble and simply lose the respect of the class or worse just leave right there.
Can someone overcome this? Can someone with asperger be a teacher?
Why don't you find out? I mean, I don't know how it is in your country, but here, prospective teachers are usually taken on as aides at first, with a more seasoned teacher there in case shit goes south. It'd give you an answer, and they'd make sure it wasn't a complete disaster.

I mean, I've got some decent learning capacities (Scored in the top 5% in a national test which is sort of like the SAT), but I just feel like I'm stupid, not sharp-minded, not knowledgeable etc.

Now, okay, my answer may not solve the underlying problem of the thing, but it's a good foundation. I was the most boring fucking person around and felt like a retard, but this helped fake smarts and personality for a while, and eventually turned into something I actually enjoyed.
Read, bruh. Like, even checking the news regularly will provide you with fresh shit to discuss. Variety of topics - easy to cover because hey, the fuckin' internet. Stay away from political discussion unless you know what the crowd goes for, never want to rile shit up, but reading about politics is a pretty solid way to make yourself feel better about your knowledge. Even if ultimately it's all the same shit everywhere.
Beyond that? Random articles on... anything, really, that catch your eye. There are guaranteed to be some subjects you find interesting, even if you hadn't considered them such before - that's usually because you never thought about it. I never cared much for science news... until I actually started reading articles about recent research. That in turn led to looking into relevant terms to actually understand what the shit, and so on, leading to actual knowledge. Sure, nothing too impressive, but a good start.
As for more practical use/training of logic/perception/whatever, plenty of games based on logic, and while the 'benefits' are debatable, it's good for making you feel good about yourself, which is clearly part of the point here.

Ditch chocolate, candy, chips, beer, bread. They're okay once in a while but don't binge eat.
Diet is helpful but working out, believe it or not, works wonders.

So /adv/, me my brother split money to afford Overwatch and a PSN+ subscription. I ended up letting him have the PSN+ subscription. But ever since we agreed upon this deal, he has been incredibly controlling of his PS4 and incredibly difficult to work with. To the point of not letting me play on reasonable times. His main excuses for not letting me play are solutions he can easily solve. The biggest one is the fact that his PS4 is setup with his monitor that he also uses with his computer. He complains that he can't use his computer while I'm playing, despite refusing to let me borrow the PS4 into my room, all while he has borrowed my PS3 for years.
He is 18, and our father has already told me quite bluntly to not do business with "Children." Every time I try to talk to him about this issue, he gets all mad and escalates the situation, being incredibly childish and again, being difficult to work with. He gets all annoyed and puts on a timer, blaming me for how long it's taking when he's being dismissive and unwilling to negotiate. This sounds like some incredibly insignificant shit, but I just really want to play this silly game I put money in.
