I suffer from depression as well. Getting a job was one of the best things I ever did. It's a crappy waiter job, but the people I work with are great and they seem to like me a lot too. I still suffer from what you do. Being lazy and generally not doing much, but I'm still in a much better place. Doing something, anything at all, and getting some money out of it is an amazing feeling. Take it day by day too. I'm still fat and lazy, but I'm not jobless anymore.
