I was raised Southern Baptist, but I simply do not believe in the core aspects of the faith. I do believe in God, but I don't believe Jesus was the son of man.
I think my own personal beliefs closely align with Quakerism, but I do not know any Quakers. I live in a very small town, with no other Quakers (I have tried to find them). I would like to learn more about the religion, but somehow I feel like a tourist; like a pretender. When I do find a church group, how do I not feel like an outsider?

Don't pick a faith based on how it makes you feel. Do your own digging, understand what they all mean, the interpretations, etc etc. Take a class at LEAST. Then pick based on what you think is most reliable to what actually happened based on the history.
