Hey /adv/
I'm an American living in Italy, and I have to go into work for a couple hours tonight around 12am-1am to do this stupid time change thing.
I don't have anything else to do and I was wondering /adv/'s opinion: Is it 'too' lame to go to a stripclub on my own afterward? I mean, I've got nothing else to do, and the clubs are open til like 4-5am, so plenty of time to swing by.
The stripclubs here are way different than in America, FYI. There's a lot more one on one and conversation. No one goes up to stage to give...

Thing is, I'm just on the fence. I could do nothing, stay home, and be boring (but save money), or I could go see some titties (but spend money). For the first time in my life I have over $20k, and I've kind of got into a habit of enjoying having the money more than doing anything on the weekends and spending it. Was just wondering what others thought.

Because if you're getting fucked already, why waste money on tits? Tits aren't that interesting, most of them look shitty, and the ones that look good almost all look approximately the same just different sizes. I've always been mildly depressed and apathetic, but I've managed to function normally and live a pretty fulfilling life with quite a few friends. Lately I've felt so deeply unmotivated that I can't be bothered to socialise, and when I do, I can't even be bothered to contribute to the conversation. My social circle has nearly completely whittled down because of it. Normally I've felt some sort of enthusiasm for being liked and am known as the goofy jokester, but of late people have been asking me why I'm acting so different. I don't know...

See a therapist. Similar thing happened to me and seeing a shrink and having someone to pour everything out helped with controlling my emotions. And exercising.

Anhedonia (loss of interest in pleasurable activities) is a symptom of depression.
CBT, specifically Behavioral Activation is a great treatment for depression.
If you can't be bothered with that, try this:
Pick up st. john's wort standardized dose at any walgreens and follow the directions. Also make it a point to talk to people anyway especially when you don't feel like it.
Hello /adv/, autism here. I have a question.
So I've been seeing a girl, we have agreed that she will stay at my place tomorrow night, we're dating but never had sex yet. I assume this will happen tomorrow, then she will be staying overnight. She said she will be bringing her pyjamas.

Im afraid of taking risks. My whole life ive been afraid. Now i realize that i need to change. I just dont know to start. Im going for a business degree but love art. Im sn atheist but go to church every sunday. I feel like this comes from efforts of becoming myself being crushed by parents as a teenager.
