Help. Girlfriend of 3,5 years just said no when I proposed her. I have no idea what to do now?
We have been together 3,5 years and around one year we talked about getting married some time and we decided we are really serious about this, so that we would get married in future. Now I feel the time is right, but I dont know what to do anymore because she rejected my proposal. I'm compeltely broken and have no idea what to do next. I really love her and want to marry her but I don't know If i can even continue this relationship after she said no to me.

Hey /adv/, it feels like I'm constantly being pulled in different directions from everyone. I have a hard time just being happy going my own way, because no matter what I do, someone will disapprove.
For example, I want to play video games and I'm 25, but most people I know look very negatively at that. I have crushes on people that i feel like i know what they want, but then I'm suddenly pulled in that direction and don't know how to be myself.
No matter what I do, I second guess myself and feel a sense of shame knowing such-and-such person...

What does it mean if she spends hours with me during week when we're both at uni but hardly text me when we go home at weekends? Just this wednesday we went to see Saul's son and headed to our fav bar, we stayed there until 6 a.m., she told me she could never managed to stay with anyone else this long. We had fun and laughs as always when we go somewhere but the thing that she rarely text me back is weird. When we at uni and I text her asking if she wanna go out for a cig she always says yes.

My dad is on vacation, so he decided to come to my place (I live in a foreign country.) First you'll show your friends you have a father and care about the guy, second and more important, you will show your father you are proud of him and want him in your life for the time he's there. I applied for a language trip to Spain that is organised by my uni. Is it a good idea to say that the reason why I chose to learn Spanish is because I have a Spanish friend during the interview? Tbh I only picked Spanish as it is a lingua franca, I like how "romantic" it sounds, and I have a friend who can teach me Spanish. I don't even know how to answer the question why I thin Spain (and other Hispanic countries) are culturally or historically interesting because I don't, but surely I can't say that in an interview
