hi, everyone. this post will probably seem more suited for /fit/ but I am somewhat intimidated by the board and I'm hoping to get a reply here. I'm 23/m and am underweight. I'm trying to gain 10 to 20 pounds but I struggle with poor appetite and can only make it to the gym occasionally. other than trying to up my gym gain, is there anything else I can do to help? thank you~

/adv/ I live in a place where we get 0 sunlight for more than half of the year. This place is well known for it's largely depressed populace, i've known 12 people who have killed themselves in the past few years. And this lack of light is really getting to me, those sun lights you buy from costco don't work at all, and even physical activity only slightly helps. Is there anyway to really work past anxiety, paranoia, and self-loathing? Sometimes I'm alright but sometimes it gets a lot worse than normal and I feel overly sensitive and insecure about stupid shit. Why do I always immediately come to the conclusion in my head "Anon is getting tired of me. I'm a terrible person. Why do I suck so bad?" when there's no logical way to explain why I should ever feel that way?

I went hiking during Feb 22nd. After a long period of hiking which involved downhill and uphill movement, there was this "sting" that I felt near my toes and later on I noticed my toes (big toe on both feet) were slightly numb. Anyways, I haven't shaved for like three weeks and now I have to decide whether to get rid of all the hair or maybe try out trimming, given that I don't have this kind of opportunity very often (not having to go out so being able to skip the looks-like-shit-because-it's-half-grown-phase).

I don't think so. Most of the time, I'm cleanly shaven, unless I happen to waste time in the morning and notice that I'm way too late, so I have to skip the shaving. It starts becoming noticeable after like 3 days, so I'd say it happens roughly once or twice a month max. Other than that, I'm always cleanly shaven.

Several years ago we had an extremely major disagreement which resulted in my getting kicked out. Haven't spoken to or seen him in years. When he's under emotional stress he becomes extremely volatile, not physically but mentally and verbally. Thus, talking to him would prove awkward and regarding this topic would be, I'm sure, very heated on his end. I'm a very calm person so we can clash pretty hard.
I've thought about trying to communicate this to him but every scenario in my head ends...
