Yeah, I've felt the same way for a long time. Long enough to realize I am depressed. I'm not saying you are but the similarities seem prevalent. You could just simply be bored with life. And yeah, thats normal. Try and seek out things that are new to you. They will be interesting at first but that will die soon. You are the one who has to keep interested and invested in it for it to give something back. I'm not quite there yet either, but this is my motto for now

It might be depression. Not enjoying thing as you used to, feeling empty, is indicative. Other stuff you mentioned may play into it. As far as I know, inclination towards suicide begins later in the stages, if at all. You might wanna check out with a mental health professional.
Also make sure you're getting adequate sleep, taking care of yourself, etc.
It's also important how long this has been going on.
Long one. I'm in college but I'd rather be working. Only reason I'm here is because my parents want me to be, but I feel bad about dropping out. That's what my plan is at the end of the semester. I'd rather find work and save up fully before coming back. Money is always a concern, no matter what. Right now I only have enough to last until the end of May.
Little backstory as to why I feel bad about leaving, but better if I do.

What do you do when your gf does A LOT for you like brings you food, drives you around, lends you money ect. But doesn't give you an inch of freedom? Everything you do she has to be present. One you already see for yourself in the fact that she is constantly around you. She's pretty much granted that since you depend on her so much. Two you just shouldn't be too dependent on anyone. What should I do about unwanted erections in public? I work a pretty strenuous job with very little breaks, so often times whenever I find the urge to use the bathroom, I need to hold it until there's an opportunity to find a restroom. The problem, as most you guys know, is that with all that pressure and blood rushing to my 'area', it'll cause an erection that can be difficult to hide. So, what can I do to prevent or conceal this? I wear boxers that are a bit too small for me, should I switch to ones that fit my size better? Or maybe briefs would provide...

In any case OP, if you have an inferiority complex, then you'll just be drifting through life with no purpose whatsoever. If you're as lucky as I was, you'll find something very niche to attach yourself to and you can revel in the fact that you're good at something.
