what does /fa/ think of thick eyebrows on girls? tbh I feel like a lot of chicks who have them are trying too hard to be perceived as cute, innocent and youthful to lure us in. plus it only works if you have soft features and not man faces like most of the tumblrards who attempt it.

They're not trying to be perceived as cute or useful, they're just trying to align with the current trend and getting their "brow game on point". (Origins of a trend aren't necessarily considered by the people following them).
Just like pencil thin 90s brows didn't suit everyone, neither do these.
However I'd take the natural fuller (not overdrawn) eyebrows over heavily plucked ones any day.
