How does /fa/ think about make up on males?
I'm going to be filming a short series next year and have the choice of being natural or using some make up.
I think it would be nice to cover up any spots and shit I may have but the whole stigma of male make up is still there.
There's stigma in using mascara and lipstick. There's none in using shit to cover up your skin imperfections. You'll be fine.
Concealer is a godsend. Use it.

So I've had a weird, almost receding-looking hairline since I've been born, and am constantly struggling with what to do with it. I've been experimenting for the last couple years with classic men's cuts to get away from my kid-ish dry parted hair. Picture is my hair when it's not done, my hairline, and my hair put up. Tell me what to do! Additional info: I'm a dad and husband in his early twenties and have been trying to up my game a little bit to actually look like an adult and prefer classic men's hair.

we dont. we often roast the autists from /fit/ who come here and try to convince people to lift for seemingly no reason other than they recently copped a gym membership
they think they've found the key to life or something and theyve been sent here to enlighten us all on how lifting will change our lives
Lifting is a waste of time unless you need muscle mass for some sort of sport.
No need to squander your leisure on lifting to look like some steroid-abusing faggot as your face is way more important.
However, there is nothing wrong with working out as it's a good way to stay lean and in shape, obviously excluding lifting.
i lift and desu if i was really into fashion i wouldn't. a lot of modern fits dont look good on a muscular body

I often sit by myself in the university's cafeteria (>tfw no friends) and I usually discretely look at people, especially fashionable women as I eat my lunch / shitpost on my memepad or read a book.
Few month ago, I decided to look better so I did exercise everyday to shape my spooky body but did not changed my clothing habits.
I'm usually in jeans, beige chino, uni's sweatpants with some hoodie, wool pull on top of a shirt or a thin knitted turtleneck.
I want to quit being a beta and see if I can get the attention of people. I don't do it expecting to get some chick, but stop being invisible / ignored would boost my self esteem.
What are the basics mistakes not to do(like sport socks with jeans or something)?
What can be the new major items my wardrobe will orbit on?
I want to keep steady so please don't overdo. I'd try to follow the unreachable and I'd finish giving up with fashion...

Ditch the turtleneck. Make sure your clothes fit well. Look around the Internet and see what sort of style you like and start moving that direction. Be ready to pay more for good items, don't be afraid to spend more on good denim and versatile shoes. Don't buy anything too out there, odds are good you'll look like shit without knowing it early in your effay journey. Slow and steady.

Could also just stop going to the internet for fashion advice. It's not hard to steal style from people around you that are getting the kind of attention you want, especially at a university.
