I've been on this board for quite some time now and I've seen users come and go. I don't really think this board has dipped in quality too much but to make this board better ITT we will list things that must be done.

Just curious, does what a brand stand for/ how ethical it is effect whether you purchase from it or not?
I personally think that when it comes to brand ethics Patagonia has the best quality gear and they produce it in the most humane and sustainable way.

obviously i want clothing to be good quality but i dont care if some sweatshop kids make it.
I bought a near-mint patagonia flannel at a non profit thrift store whose profits go local animal shelters and finding pets new homes. Copped for $15. I couldn't fucking believe it.
I'm sure many of you own some higher end clothing. What do you do to keep them clean? How often do you wash? What do you do to keep them from distorting while washing/drying?

I dry clean stuff like silk or fragile items and outerwear. I hand wash everything else in cold water. Outerwear and pants only need to be washed if you get them dirty or you've sweated a ton in them.
what do you guys do for woolens?
i never wash shit
rotate and be careful of not spilling anything on them
t shirts and underwear are the only things i wash
