What are some pieces that anyone should own on just about any budget? Quality stuff for under $200.
a pair of very dark Levi's 501s Preferably with a nice taper to them (for anyone who knows how to sew it's not that hard, and if you don't a tailor can do it for a few dollars) that keeps them looking clean, but won't be offensive to those who get autisitcally upset over "skinny jeans" can be had for $60 or so.

I think you fail to see what most people use /fa/ for. I'm a disaster if I go to a party completely alone but I always go with friends or have friends at the house already. It's easier with other people, just get drunk/do drugs and talk about music, fashion, university, etc.. Idk just talk about things you like/things going on?
Also drinking games (beer pong,flip cup, Kings) are easy way to socialize and get everyone drunk

if it's so called normal people it's usually a bit depressing and i feel really like an outsider.
if it's the so called alternative it's might be a bit better sometimes, but sometimes it also makes me cringe a lot, so i'd say it's a matter of people mostly.
