I need a good linen or cotton jacket to wear this summer. I live in Texas, and it's too hot to wear my regular navy blazer. I have never worn linen jackets before, so I need some style recommendations. Also this is my Hermes pocket square I'd like to wear with it.
If y'all would be so kind to piece together a Sunday outfit for me, that would be so cool. Besides the pocket square I don't want to look too flashy, so no white linen jackets or striped seer sucker

Pure linen wrinkles like crazy, and I personally don't think blazers full of wrinkles look good. Look for something between 25% and 40% linen with the rest being some other decent natural material if you want the breathability without the crazy wrinkles.I'm also somewhat in the market for a summer blazer, and pure linen is a no-go in my book.
How do I effectively distinguish between made-for-outlet pieces of shit and delicious b-stock/overflow from original dept stores? I usually shop at the Rack, sometimes Last Call. So far I only know is to avoid brands that have their own racks (Michael Kors, Penguin), but I'm not sure how to inspect clothing or identify labels to determine authenticity. Any tips /fa/?

This is haughty nonsense desu. This isn't the case of purchasing a "fake", most pieces sold at clearance stores intentionally deceive the buyer with a similar fit/appearance; they're inferior replicas made by the same company.
