Try thick bleach, diluting it with water and adding olive oil can lighten the skin to a degree without damaging it.
Ingesting that same mixture can add to the effectiveness but best done at night as when your pores open up while sleeping it'll be more effective.

I've always loved camping/fishing/bushcraft, mostly in the winter/spring/fall but almost never in the summer.
