This is the first time I have ever made a post on /fa/ because I don't really care about what I wear.
But I saw a guy wear this fucking comfy as fuck looking hoodie/jacket.
On the outside it looked like a regular hoodie, but on the inside it was kinda fuzzy, like pic related. Also thicker than a normal hoodie as well.
So it was more aimed towards being a thing to wear in the cold.
If anyone happen to know what they are named in swedish too, that would help a lot.

Serious request/question about clothes editing /fa/
I have jacket in pic, i like the colour and the loose fit but I get that it looks like south-east London vintage student.
Would there be any way for a tailor to take the corduroy collar and replace it with a collar that's the same colour as the material of the jacket? I.e the whole jacket top to bottom is off-white.
Basically I dont like the collar.

Quite like the collar like that, but yeah I imagine a decent tailor could probably do it for you. Wouldn't be too hard to remove that material and sew on what you want.

I need new all black sneakers for my work and I can't choose between the Nike Airmaxes or Nike Kaishi's.
Which ones are better?

I had Kaishi's and they're very comfy but I think the Airmaxes would hold up better because the material for the Kaishi's isn't as solid.

All black literally only looks good when your trousers are all black. Unless you're in need of all blacks I wouldn't cop them in a bb colorway.

I've seen alot of people asking about sizing for doc martens so I decided to make a thread about my experience.
Docs do not have half sizes and generally run a bit large. I'm usually a size 11 or 11.5 but for my boots I bought a size 10 or an UK 9.
At first the boots were very tight I'd say at the top on my foot near my ankle. It took me a month or two to break in the leather but they fit perfectly now.
I highly recommend using the wonder balsam they sale you. I believe they give you some when you purchase boots anyway. It really helps you soften the leather so you can break them in faster.
Apply about a marble size amount to a hair brush and brush it in firmly. The brush shouldn't be too soft or too hard. You should probably buy two brushes. One for cleaning the boot and another for applying the balsam
I'm on my feet alot and the insole they provide you is decent but I personally prefer a gel insole. I found some cheap insoles for about 10$. They do the trick and my boots feel like a pair of slippers. You probably should replace the insoles every 3-4 months depending on usage.

Now I'm going to be honest; I have no idea how to dress warm simply because I've never had to.

Hey I have lived in BC for 25 years. Got my first boots last summer just for aesthetic reasons. If youre living at a ski hill that isnt whistler you might want some boots that are 6inches otherwise not needed. Long pants/jeans should be good enough. Layer! get some sweaters and an insulated jacket that has a waterproof rating if ur skiing or boardin. http://www.myairblaster.com/products/good-times-2-in-1-jacket im rocking this jacket as it can be worn out and on the slopes pretty warm and the hoodie is nice too would recommend. Get a couple toques from army and navy for $2....
