Serious request/question about clothes editing /fa/

I have jacket in pic, i like the colour and the loose fit but I get that it looks like south-east London vintage student.

Would there be any way for a tailor to take the corduroy collar and replace it with a collar that's the same colour as the material of the jacket? I.e the whole jacket top to bottom is off-white.

Basically I dont like the collar.

Quite like the collar like that, but yeah I imagine a decent tailor could probably do it for you. Wouldn't be too hard to remove that material and sew on what you want.

shouldnt be too hard to just rip off the collar and sew on a new one, or just hem it like that and wear it without a collar
