What is /fa/'s opinion of vintage menswear? I sort of collect stuff from the '20s to '50s, and it's a real bonus when it fits. I get more compliments in authentic vintage suits than modern suits haha. Pictured here- late-'40s "bold look" era herringbone jacket with early-'40s tie, shirt, and tie bar (early-'50s charcoal gabardine trousers out of frame). I just really like the fit and aesthetics of this period. What do you all think?
It was in fashion at the time. Now fashion has moved on. It's great that you have your own style but people on this board usually disregard anything of the sorts of what you like. Usually people who say they are "classy" are neckbeards and have a bad stigma around them. Now you may be a troll you may not be. All I am saying is keep your individual style and disregard what other people say.
