Alright, let's end this stupid meme talking point.1. Kylo Ren is powerful in the Force, like his mother before him. That's why he can freeze blaster bolts in the air, read minds, and basically do godly shit with his Force abilities. He is however, very untrained with the lightsaber. This is evident in the way he uses the lightsaber, in wild, hacking swings. There's no finesse or skill. It doesn't really look like he's attune to the Force when he's fighting, rather he's just hacking away like a kid with a stick. The Emperor mentions that his training only really begins when he kills Han. Also his amatuer status with a lightsaber is evident in the lightsaber itself. It's not a clean blade, it's a rusty piece of shit with a violatile blade ready to explode at any second.
2. He was injured! The movie continuously points out that he is injured in the fight. The movie also goes out of it's way to show how powerful Chewie's bowcaster is. It doesn't just kill Stormtroopers, it blows them across the room and into the wall with large holes in them. Han uses it and nearly cums his pants. Kylo Ren essentially had a giant hole in his torso before the fight with Rey ever began. Also, he keep pounding on it in an attempt to make it worse, out of some vague misinterpretation of Sith philosophy that "pain makes your connection to the dark side stronger".
