Every scene he's in is gold. He plays well off of everyone. He has great scenes with Rey, Han, Chewy, Poe, BB-8, Kylo and Phasma. And he's got some of the best dramatic, action and comedic moments.

I personally thought the movie was awful, and horribly uninspired, so I rewrote the story using the same set up and cast, it's mostly the same for the first act, but changes drastically once they leave the first planet.

I didnt really have many problems with the movie. Yeah it recycled plit points from 4 and 6, but i was understanding of that.
That said your re-do isnt bad. I kinda like it. Well, up until Luke's appearence. I still feel he shouldnt have been found in this movie. And that him appearing of his own volition in the same movie where him having disappeared was such a big deal kinda cheapens the reasons for his self-imposed exile. If he WAS to appear, i think the actual movie did handle it best, despite it feeling rushed and shoe-horned

It's unlikely that Superman could be held still in a Force grip. His physical strength is immense, it would be like trying to hold a planet still.
A Force choke is similarly out of the question. No way even Vader has the strength to constrict Superman's windpipe.
Superman 10/10. Even if Superman couldn't resist the Force, his speed and laser vision would more than make up for that.
