can we please not talk about star wars in every thread
Miss me yet, /tv/?
I may have been a shitty actor in two shitty Star Wars movies, but at least I didn't ruin any established canon.
>He didn't kill Dooku after picking up his lightsaber for the first time
>He didn't use force abilities without even being trained on how to use them
>He actually had to train on how to use a saber and spend decades working his way through the ranks to even stand a chance against a lower Sith apprentice

You didn't watch Episode I, did you? Anakin was able to fly his first spaceship (without a booster seat), go into a space battle, get several kills, and blow up a droid control ship without so much as a scratch.
>Hayden Christensen
>shitty actor
>>63832882
Also this, yeah. Hayden was never the problem. He did the best with what he had.
I liked the idea of the main antagonist being this badass Sith who ends up just being a brat trying to be Vader.
I also liked the scene where he killsHanright as the sun is just finishing getting drained. It was preditable, but well done.
I hope it follows the same arc as the original trilogy and he eventually gains redemption, I feel like he deserves it. I liked his character a lot though I wish we could see more of him in depth

Dude was pathetic, but in an interesting way. Want to see what they do with him in the upcoming films.
I havent seen the film but is he as much of an edgelord as he looks?
What went right?
The light saber effects, especially the smoke
Anyone else was bothered that Luke's only spoken line, and the last line of the movie was "Now you're here Rey. Finally, the Force awakens."?
Good casting, likable characters
> During a recent interview with Charlie Rose, Jennifer Lawrence spoke about her recent essay for the newsletter Lenny. In the piece, Lawrence wrote about the pay gap in Hollywood—one that came to light after the Sony hacks—and, in particular, her anger at herself for not negotiating for equal pay with her male co-stars. She wrote:
>“When the Sony hack happened and I found out how much less I was being paid than the lucky people with dicks, I didn’t get mad at Sony. I got mad at myself. I failed as a negotiator because I gave up early.”
> She believes a public conversation on the wage gap is beneficial to all working women.
>Lawrence also spoke about internalized gender bias, the kind of invisible forces that mediate women’s beliefs that they can and should negotiate pay. She told Rose:
> “As a woman, we almost put this gender bias in ourselves.... I wanted to say, ‘I feel awkward negotiating, I feel uncomfortable asking for more money. I don’t want to seem like a brat, I don’t want to seem like all of the things that are words that that are used for women; they don’t have those words for males.”
Is she right?
no one cares
check my doobs, shill
She is right and society needs to work on fixing the wage gap.
>>63832283
I've reached that point of being such a douche bag that even if there is a wage gap (which there isn't) I wouldn't give two fucks.
I'm about to watch godfather for the first time what should I expect?
Shut up and watch the movie you dumb memer.
so you have the movies split into two parts each but not labeled as to which one is the one you watch first? the godfather part 1 and the godfather part 1.

Actually that was the bully that use to call him nigtrooper in boot camp. No wonder he flipped.
It probably helped he watched his buddies gun down an entire town of innocent civilians

I think the Force itself is way more powerful now. The light side is more powerful now because of Anikan, and I think Snoke is tied into that mission Palpatine sent to find the source of the dark side of the force, they found him in another galaxy and now he came to take over due to the vacuum left by Sheev and Vader dying. There are probably more like him too, which might be the plot for other movies later on.
This is why Rey can use it so easily.
Kylo is still pretty green himself, and he's shown to do shit we've never seen before with the Force.

ANYTHING ELSE!?
I guess in the prequels Palpatine kept 5 or 6 of these guys locked in his basement.
>the source of the Darkside actually exists in the physical universe
Pls don't be some Sith Emperor or Rakata bullshit
>This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
fucking 2015, niggers fucking white women, this is it.
Why did they have to fuck in the first episode? I mean, at least let us get to know their characters first. Seemed like they just wanted to get it over with.

SHE'S NOT MY MOTHER
TODD
What movie
Haha, yeah! Stick it to the man, John!
why isnt budnick at camp?
>"So, the movie requires an actor that is the precise equivalent of a plain cheese pizza, or vanilla ice cream. My aim is to put the audience to deep sleep via this extremely unremarkable actor. But who should we get? My usual guy, Sam Worthington, got evicted from his Hollywood home for not paying the rent years ago."
>"Say no more, sir. He's already on his way to the set."
>"Our film needs an actor that's so lacking in knowledge of his craft, that he thinks yelling, failing miserably in changing accents and jumping around like a gorilla is fine acting. It'd be also cool if the actor happened to be on suicide watch because of unwarranted, unanswered desires for a reward for his abysmal acting."
>"You can sleep easy, sir. I happen to know the perfect actor for your needs."
oh golly it's this thread again
>''I really want to get Tom Hardy for my movie, but I don't have enough money to hire him. I'm in quite the pickle here.''
