Luke vs Vader in Jedi was by far the best. Of all the fights, it felt the most "real" you can see Luke's emotion when he starts hacking away at Vader.
That fight looked way too choreographed, as if the characters themselves were performing a fight that they had practiced.

Oh please, it's boring and uninspiring as shit. Typical of old film fights.
Not saying prequel dancing around in fire doing flips and shit was better either, but the OT has boring as shit fights by today's standards.
What makes a lightsaber fight good? The prequel ones go on for too long and are unrealistic. The OT ones are very slow paced, but usually have emotion and plot in them.
Kylo Ren is the new protagonist of Star Wars. Rey, Finn and Poe are heroes within the universe, but not the protagonists. In a sense the real protagonist in star wars is the light side of the force, with the dark side being the antagonist.
Kylo's Arc: turning away from the dark side. His main antagonist being Rey, who is naturally better in the force, but will be lured into the Dark Side because she's cocky and sure of herself.
I'm guessing somewhere at the end of Episode 8 they're going to have a rematch but with Rey having gone way too far...

If they actually were to make Rey go dark side and Kylo go light side, that would be a good twist.
But they won't, this is Disney and Rey needs to be a perfect gril to market her. She'll remain a Mary Sue forever.

1) At what point in film history did american film branch to the "ententainment" ones and the "artsy" ones? It is obvious american filmmakers are trying to make a difference, for instance Birdman won quite a few Academy Awards and it was quite "daring" for a major film (the way it is filmed, the soundtrack, the plot) but a film such as The Force Awakens still might be better reviewed and definitely will have more people seeing it in their local cinemas. Will we see the domination of more "artsy" films than super-hero flicks in a few years...
