Luke Skywalker has vanished.
In his absence, the sinister FIRST ORDER
has risen from the ashes of the Empire
and will not rest until Skywalker,
the last Jedi, has been destroyed.
With the support of the REPUBLIC,
General Leia Organa leads a brave RESISTANCE.
She is desperate to find her brother Luke
and gain his help in restoring peace
and justice to the galaxy.

WHY WHY WHY didn't they elaborate on this supposed "truce" between the Republic and first order? Why didn't they reference the turmoil and continued struggles after Endor? Why did they neglect to mention the battle and truce at Jakku, which is a key moment?? Why? WHY?
I immediately thought this was going to be shit after reading that there are two organisations who's main goal is just to fucking find Luke.
Thankfully the first half was pretty goodand then it really turned to shit.
