I don't know what's going on with me lately. Since I lost my job some time ago, I've been spending a lot of time home. If I'm not job hunting, I'm in bed with a feeling I can only describe as a despair that manifests in an almost physical pain that feels like a knot in my chest leading to uneasiness. This feeling makes me feel lonely, so I go out to hang with friends on the weekend but for some reason, once I do hang out with them, all I wanna do is go back home and lie in bed. I don't understand. Why do I wanna go back home and be alone if that's when I feel my most shitty, unfulfilled, and alone?

Going through a similar thing right now. Honestly, the best thing to do is to just try to get out of the house, hang out with friends, and try your best to not think about it. If it comes into your mind, force it out and focus on what's happening in reality around you. When you're alone and can't hang o with anyone, try to do something, anything, that you enjoy. I've noticed any interest in games has waned and playing them only seems to make me more depressed if I do so for long periods of time, especially without friends. Pick up a hobby like drawing, playing an instrument, etc. just something.
It may take awhile, but bit by bit it will help you gain motivation to do shit like job hunting. But if you are only doing that all day everyday, it will start to stress you out.
And don't sleep in really late halfway through the afternoon and shit. Not sure if it's the same for everyone,mount at least for me, if I do that over a period of time, it starts to add to at lonely and depressed feeling.

My only experience is with OKCupid which has been a disaster. Some problems I've encountered:

How long before you guys became good or proficient at a coding language?
I did decent in my intro CSCI class(B) but found that it really only had us copying what the teacher was doing on the board. Messing with Python during the summer and certain concepts are still vague/i don't understand(Boolean mainly but I'm still a beginner)

I'm a 26 year loser who has wasted 10 years of his life doing nothing, I have basically nothing. It's at the point where I either try to fix this or take a bullet.
I'm going to the doctor to tell them about my mental state hopefully this week so I only really need help with this. Is there anything I can learn online that will actually help me get a job or do I have to go to college? I don't know what I want to do with my life but I don't want to do courses online if people don't take it seriously.

am I a shitty person for hating my gf's severely autistic nephew? I've been living with her and her family for a little bit since I'm in between places after my last apartment burned down. Her entire family is bat shit insane and the worst one is the nephew. He's loud, spoiled, smells, fat, violent, and has some of the most hateable tantrums I've ever seen. Throws shit constantly. Got into the bad habit of throwing his soiled diapers too. He grabs you if he wants something and takes whatever you got if he wants it for himself.

A few times on my days off, people leave and I got to watch him. I'm surprised this little faggot never destroys the house. He gets into everything. Plays with knives, outlets, stoves, you name it. I tried small discipline by saying no and he just starts fucking screaming like a bitch and throwing himself on the ground, stomping his feet and making shit on the shelves quake.
I had enough and yanked on his ear to cut his nonsense out and forced him to his room. He squirmed and swung his arms around, knocking my glasses off. I reacted badly and punched him. He finally shut up.
It felt fucking great. Yet I felt like shit for it after the adrenaline went away. Society has forcefully ingrained in me a sense of wrong for hitting this dumb little animal. When his mother came back, said he tripped and slammed his head against a door. She bought it.
I tried coming clean to my friends about it, but anytime I bring up his name they act like he's such a good kid. Just garbage do gooder crap because he's on the spectrum.
