I started working in a small company (10 people) a few months back. I've become decent friends with a girl who works there, and in the past few weeks we've gone to a few concerts in the city together. During the last one, we spent most of the time talking, and when we parted, she gave me a long hug and squeezed my arm. I read this as affection, so I invited her to another gig, but she had a flimsy excuse which seemed to me like she wanted an out. Since then, we've still been talking and have been friendly as ever at work.
So am I reading too much into things? And should I even think about things progressing with a coworker?
Her flimsy excuse was that over the weekend was her mom's birthday, and she didn't know which day they would celebrate. But there were 4 different shows over the entire weekend, so it could have easily been worked around.

They just are who they are and they are successful and awesome just being them. You may find some small things you should change about yourself, but you never have to be blunt. In fact, the world could use more indirect people who think about things more carefully. People say they like me because I'm blunt, but I'm not. Actually, I carefully think about what I want to say and deliver it in a nice way. Just keep being yourself, you don't have to change for anyone.

Look up one of those liberal arts colleges. The ones in the Netherlands are really good and will land you a good job, too.
The one in Middelburg is quite nice and part of the Utrecht university. I've heard good and bad things about Utrecht university college.
At these schools you get to choose courses every semester (half a year) and let them build towards a major. The work load is higher than regular universities and you'll have to write a fuck ton of papers and give about 10 presentation per semester.
I've visited friends at several places and I do think the one in Middelburg is the nicest. The students are cool and they have tons of activities, especially since it's only 600 students. The city itself is small but fun in its own way; very culturally active.

im having an argument with my sister about video editing.
she says its possible to edit out 2 minutes of film (retail camera footage) without anyone noticing, but that sounds like serious bullshit to me.
Even if they edit the timestamp, I feel like 2 minutes is a huge gap in film.
Why does the only form of editing need to be a cut? You could mask over some shoppers from other sections of the footage to blend the seam.

Hey /adv/ I've seen this topic brought up before on here but never from this side. I just learned that, before we were together, my current boyfriend (been together for about 6 months) went through a period of what he calls depression, and ended up sleeping with/hooking up with a lot of different girls in a fairly short period of time. He said it was 12 girls over the course of a few months. I don't know what to do because I like him a lot, but this really bothers me. It makes me feel like the sexual side of our relationship isn't as special, and that he might cheat on me if he ever gets depressed while we're together. What do you think??

The only way your relationship's sexual side wouldn't be special is if he's still depressed and still hooking up with different girls. The fact that neither of those things is true already creates a stark difference.
I've had several sexual partners in my past, yet I don't compare any particular girlfriend to any of my exes. Ultimately that's because sex with a girlfriend is based on my feelings for that girlfriend, not my concerns for myself.
So if your boyfriend bangs you only for his own gratification, yeah, it's not special. If he bangs you because of how he feels about you specifically, his past is separate from that. This has to do with the person. The past doesn't inform a person; it's only a consequence. You need to figure out for yourself whether his past is a consequence of depression or a consequence of not giving a shit about women.
