I got scammed. I sold a camera lens through marktplaats (Dutch craigslist) and the money never arrived. We met in person and I saw him complete the transfer with his iPhone app but three days later the money hasn't gone through: €1500
It was my girlfriend's camera lens and probably her only valuable possession. We are low on money hence me trying to sell it.
I feel so violated and stupid and trying to stave of panic attacks. I've reported it to the guy's bank, I have his name and a photo of his driver's license and will make a police report later today.
I found his Facebook and made a fake profile m, first friending his friends and then him, but he hasn't bitten yet. The number he used to call is now straight to voicemail.
What is there left to do? Do I try and track him down where I think he lives? I don't actually have that info and his online presence is incredibly minimal. I'm just looking for something that can be done.
Pretysure you can call/contact marktplaats and tell them what happened. If youve made the transaction thru there, they should enforce the payment and/or compensate you atleast

Her best friend likes you. She cant date you anymore. They probably had a talk about guys they liked and she agreed to give you up to her best friend.
That being said tell her its cool. Tell her you feel used and abused as an emotional tampon. Let her know that its your fault and you understand that when she was down, you enabled her to squeeze dry as a replacement. That you wont do it again.
Then stop looking to her for attention. Hang out with the girl who likes you. If the friend wants to hang treat her as you would the friend of a friend. Dont give her special attention.
This is not just about relationships, its a life lesson. Tunnel vision is what makes people miss out on amazing opportunities. You really want this girl but what if you taste change and you like the type of girl sitting beside you. Dont fawn over manipulative people. Nothings worse than watching someone chase someone whos no good for them.

Yesterday I dated a girl I knew a couple months ago. This is not our first date and she even introduced me her parents already.
During the date I told her "I like you" (you know, in plan "I want to be your boyfriend) and she just get nervous and never answered me.
We finished the date and she never replied to that. What should I do next? We will go out tomorrow but I'm kinda nervous.

Can a relationship with a compulsive liar work out?
Dated this girl for 4 years, big lies and small lies everywhere, made up stories, made up shit, telling me she did stuff when she did not, and vice versa, just a cluster fuck of meaningless lies, some lies had truth to them some were completely made up.
Either way after all this time i suggested she may have a compulsive lying disorder, she actaully seemed pretty happy to finally figure out what the fuck made her lie about such stupid shit. She claims she is working on it and right now she is literally doing whatever i say and trying to answer and be honest with everything.
The problem is i don't trust her, she's lied to me so much i just can't trust that she really is being honest this time. She's never cheated or done anything bad, only ever lied about times before she knew me.
I guess i worry for the future, i'd love to stay with her but hate if our relationship revolves around me constantly questioning and checking on her to catch out her stupid lies. Can a relationship like this work?

To go the lengthy route. I'm not ugly, my bombshell matches on tinder tell me that much. Though I'm not charming, my success rates tells me that. 1 in maybe 15 girls(Probably one in ten when I really try) I get to a stage where they give me their number and then get to a stage where they say a meet up is possible. Then it crumbles and goes no further.
This kind of applies in real life, but often I find the girls that are really clearly into me are too innocent(I study history and most of them are from that circle) for casual shit. I've had sex with 4 different girls, two as one night stands and two as mid to long term relationships but recently I've had an ungodly dryspell.
My ex says I'm cursed with overthinking but I've gotten just as much success being manipulative of the truth as I have being completely honest in who I am.
Is it really this difficult? From what I've seen of my brother, one girl opens the floodgates and I'm sitting here struggling to get that one.

do him a courtesy and tell him why you're breaking up with him. if he's acting like a jackass or is immature or whatever, he can't fix that stuff about himself if he doesn't know what's wrong
give him back any of his stuff that is still at your place and set a day to come and collect anything of yours that is at his place
after that, it's probably best to cut contact unless you're both 200% sure you want to stay friends

I resently discovered that not only I'm not an ugly fuck, but that actually I'm quite handsome. It's been overwhelming, to say the least. It's not like I had absolutely zero confidence, I just always assumed I was a 5/10 with highly above average intelligence, so I always figured my intelligence compensated for my looks. But then I started noticing girls staring at me when I'm walking, I've even seen some biting their lip and staring at my ass. Random 7-8/10 girls start conversations with me, and are very flirty. Hell, they even laugh at my jokes. My jokes are NOT funny. My jokes are about endocrinology, genetics, nutrition, medicine, themes like that, and I know they aren't party-tier. Not even my classmates like them.
I have absolutely no idea how to stop the aspie inside me to control my thoughts evey time a qt talks to me. I know I could bang many of them, but I just drop spaggetti every time they talk to me, and I can't even start a conversation with a girl.
I'm not cringe-worthy, and can hold up a conversation really well, but I always end up rejecting them unconsiously.
For example, I went out for a couple of drinks with this 9/10 I know from a few years back. Things were really smoothly, pleasant conversation, lots of sexual tension. Then we shared a cab home, I joke about not having any money and she said "you're staying with me".
You know what I fucking did? I said "relax, I do have money". I fucking rejected her.

i know what you mean and i think its less girls getting ugly and more that youve been exposed to more attractive women since leaving high school and your tastes changed.
also a lot of things can change how a person looks in a picture, from angle to lighting to how much makeup she has on. if she was anything like the girls i knew in middle school/high school, she caked that shit on so thick.
