Where's the line between being the 'strong silent type' and autism?
Being able to understand and relate to others, even if one doesn't express that understanding outwardly.

it was shit, the people who worked there were shit backstabbing motherfuckers, my back couldn't take riding around in the car for that long everyday. I'm looking to become a security guard but I've gotten into a deep depression lately that's made it hard to do anything. She's just not as invested in this relationship as you are. But you can't use your own feelings as a universal standard by which to judge all other people. It's okay to value a relationship more than someone else, especially when people change their valuation over time. The important question is whether she's offering you enough. Decide what you want, when you want it and then talk to her about it. You can do that whenever you want. I don't know how much patience you have.

Why cant women be saved? Serious question. I was in a relationship for a while where I really loved this girl who was open about her issues in her past. All of my attempts to get her off drugs and into fitness/school failed, and my friend explained to me that I can't save her no matter how much I care about her.
What's the deal? I had a rough past myself (one of the reasons I was drawn to her) and all it took was a strong love interest to pull me out of that hole. How come that doesn't work for women?

So I tried hanging myself with a belt recently. Now I have these marks all over my neck since it had holes in it. Before when I used a normal belt it just looks like I had lines around my collar and I just chalked it up to me scratching myself in my sleep.

I think it's extremely over-diagnosed, but it's validity is pretty apparent based on loads of studies, and my personal experience. I think people are quick to diagnose young kids with it since the symptoms that correlate with an ADHD diagnoses also correlate with pretty typical elementary school kid behavior. 8 year olds don't like to sit down, they shout silly things out, and would rather draw an play outside than sit in class.
