Hey /adv/ mathmajor fag here.
This is my second semester in mathematics, at an engineering school, and I'm honestly pretty disappointed with what I do. I don't really see myself working where I want 5 years from now, and I don't really see myself at all 10 years from now. I came into college loving mathematics, but started to question the point in a lot of it, pretty much lost the "beauty" that I felt for it.
Thought about switching to CS, but also can't see myself just being a software engineer for the rest of my life. Cybersecurity...

I'm a math major about to finish my degree in a good school. I came in loving math. Now I'm ehh. Pure math is great, but applied math is boring af, but pure doesn't pay. You can switch in geophysics easy enough from math, if you wanted to stay in math, esp if you take all the main physics classes (I met a PhD guy who did that at a networking event).

We started because I was drunk, and he's always been a little curious. It was brought up before, but I was uncomfortable. Then, when I was drunk, he went down on me. Later, after it was brought up again, I decided I'd like to return the favor. Since then we've done it a few times. Earlier he asked if I wanted to, and I lied about being in bed already to avoid it.
Recently I've begun to develop a stutter. As time progresses it gets worse and worse. I've always had a hard time socializing with my friends , or really or knowing what to say but now I stutter when I talk to them. On top of that , once I heard them talking and they are worried I might attempt to kill myself and are depressed. I wasn't but that in itself makes me feel shitty. I've developed a stutter because I got so used to needing to say things twice to get anyone to listen, and also my mind gets clouded and I repeat fragments trying to remember where I was going with my sentence
Just own it. People will obviously be aware that you stutter, but no asshole is gonna make fun of you for that alone.

My fiance family are not coming to our wedding because they do not like to travel.
I have a serve anxiety disorder so I can not handle being in a building with that many people looking at me. So we are getting married on the beach. My fiance and I have everything planned and my fiance really angry that they are not coming.
My fiance family is now asking for us to buy extra photos to give them and also to send them invitations even though they said they are not going.

If a professor asks for citations, does it usually mean you have to do the in-text quoting bullshit? I'm fine with works cited pages, but not the in text citations.
There are so many resources online that help with this. I'm sure even your college has guidance on it. Also, the only person who can answer specific questions on your work is the professor that assigned it. Have you tried asking him/her about it?
