Interesting thoughts. The cash idea is interesting, but I also don't like to carry cash, so it might be a no-go.

I do plan on keeping most alcohol out of the house. Maybe a 6 pack (but no more at a time) for guests/a particularly rough day, a nice bottle of wine or two if a girl comes by, and the nicer bottles of liquor I've kept around mainly for events.

I can't change shifts or totally adhere to the timeline before bed, but still, good start.

I drink 6 or 7 nights a week.

I can stop when I need to, which is how I know I don't have a drinki problem. I stop for a week or two every once in a while.

My problem is that I want to and like to drink. I like my buzz before I sleep. I like something that takes all my fears and stress and flushes it down the toilet,

That's really my problem. It isn't drinking. But it makes me realize that the door is open to me having a serious drinking problem. So I keep that in mind.
