You enter a chamber with a bottomless pit. It is six meters in diameter. Be careful. If you fall into the Bottomless Pit, you'll die of starvation.
>>46573136
i think you'd die of dehydration first. or tumbling into the wall in any number of ways at terminal velocity and breaking yourself in a dozen fun ways.
I wonder if we could use this as a toxic waste dump... I wonder what the air pressure is like five hundred kilometers down.

Anyone ever played a modern zombie survival rpg? I just picked up Outbreak: Undead. it looks like garbage, how do i make it better?
any experiences? and ideas or suggestions?
>>46565600
When you say "picked up", do you mean "purchased"? Because that was dumb. I read the pdf and was thoroughly disappointed.
>>46565634
yeah, i do mean purchased. I make enough to throw away 40 bucks now and again.

Go!
Have any of your games pulled a "the bbeg was one of the pcs the whole time" ? If so, how did it go? I have a player who wants to go in this direction and I'm not sure how much it should be encouraged.
We've had BBEG PCs before, but only once I can think where it was secret and built up. It's hard to pull something like that off when everyone is around the same table, without a heavy level of involvement and help from the DM.
Also, I kind of feel it can be more fun if other players are aware because either they can plan or try to counteract the other PC or even consider joining or helping them. Only shit players will freak out and immediately resort to hostility upon finding out, out of character.
>>46587368
I'm afraid the rest of the party will find out and I'll have to split game time between the evil pc and the rest of the party
>>46587439
You can do stuff with that PC outside of the game. Not like running separated sessions, but talking with them before and after about stuff like what they would like to have happen and what their goals are for the coming session or what goes on behind the scenes or during downtime between sessions.

>There is one primary source of spirit stones: the old Eldar homeworlds now known as Crone Worlds. Acquiring new spirit stones is extremely dangerous because the Crone Worlds exist within the Eye of Terror. In Eldar Mythology the spirit stones were created by Vaul from the Tears of Isha. This is taken as a metaphor for the crystallization of the psychic energies of the Eye.
So how is this supposed to work? Presumably not every mum and dad eldar are upto the job of jumping to a Crone World to harvest spirit stone for their kid. Do craftworlds...

I always assumed this was one of the tasks that would be taken up by Eldar pirates - the wandering bands of adventurers dissatisfied with Craftworld life who seek danger and plunder.
Though not all pirate captains would be willing to make such a hazardous trip, I would guess that craftworlders would pay handsomely for recovered stones, or even sponsor pirate crews on trips rather than sending their own precious forces.
Read path of the outcast.
Rangers/outcasts, corsairs and dark kin usually visit such places for them to trade for other shit. You'll have to get a troupe of Harlequins to guide you and look after you though.
>>46585366
Also to follow on from this, the way they get tears of Isha aren't as you might expect, atleast I thought they were gonna dig them out the ground or use a crowbar to pry them out of some place but nope, completely different way to obtain them
>Anon! You weren't trying to leave the forest, were you?
Yea I wanted to visit the savannah for a bit, get some of them lion-burgers the half-orcs sell.
What of it. You want a lionburger with a side of monkeyfries? I'm not going to safari-salads if that's what you want.

You are the head researcher at a government facility. Your sole responsibility is to teach the world's first autonomous AI, nicknamed Pandora, about life, the world and her existence.
Previously you worked out what you'd do for your date with Babsy, deciding on a nice nature walk and picnic. What's the worst that could happen there?
You also discussed and finalized the upcoming meeting between the two android siblings with Pandora, deciding to have it happen after you get back from your little vacation. Pandora seems to be warming up a little to the whole...

Your alarm goes off and you throw yourself out of bed. Honestly you've been awake for almost an hour now, unable to sleep due to nerves and going over every possible scenario in your head. Today is the day you leave. The day you will be thrust into the one thing no one who went through life as "that geeky guy" is ever prepared for; your first date with the hot girl.
You spend every second you can getting everything right. Acquisitions was polite enough to leave your order at your door, along with a cooler full of various picnic items and a note that says...

How do you deal with a paladin's oaths? Are you strict or lenient about breaking them?
