Samson and his friends+family depart from safety so soon after they gain it. Though the might of three agents of Neir, a dark mage, a heavily armored swordswoman, and a privateer (he supposes privateer would be the proper term for a pirate who smuggled for the crown), bolster Marion's ragtag bunch's own, he still cannot help but think he's walking into a deathtrap over this family loyalty stuff... He can sort this out in awhile, though!
Elsewhere in Noba, its Southeastern border is crossed by Sir Dyrus and his friends, officially beginning their campaign...

California Station itself resembles a series of great metal tumors protruding from the surface of a mined-out asteroid, surrounded by four residential and agricultural colonies that provide for the needs of the residents. From the outside, they look like giant metallic cylinders with sheaves of solar panels at either end.
The asteroid itself is a starship depot with massive repair and production facilities, but it requires authorization to get in. The colonies, however, generally turn a blind eye to pirates so long as they don't cause trouble. This makes it excellent...
