I ran the Undead/Necropolis Civ last week, and while that was fun, I'd like to start fresh with some of the things I learned last time in mind.

"I thought we were doing something fun" You say as you walk over to the door. "Is tea fun?"
Stella winks. "The tea is not the fun" She says.
"So what's the fun?" You ask.
She motions for you to come closer, and then whispers. "We're gonna trick your friends" She says, before heading inside. "Come on"
You shrug, and walk in.
This place looked small from the outside, and it looks even smaller inside. You see a single hallway, with one room at the end, and 2 rooms on the left side. The closer room looks to be the larger one, and inside you see a table with some chairs, as well as some other metal things. There's also a comfy looking couch, that Stella tells you to sit down on.

Alright, this couch is pretty damn comfy. You are kinda curious about those metal things... and what's in the other rooms.

What ray of hope? Dark Souls is all abouthow nothing you do actually mattered and won't change anything either way. It's like this for both games, at best you simply delay the age of Dark, at worst you let it happen... but either way there's nothing you can do to break the cycle.

There's some older fluff about Eldar that survived on the Crone Worlds after the fall and became Chaos champions. They are supposedly the most powerful champions out there.
Orks had some old fluff about rarely falling for Khorne, or thinking Nurgle was Gork or Mork, because the depictions they found have him green.

That black legion supplement did say that the black legion likes to capture orks in order to have them possessed to make super daemons.

Orksz can but they tend to get kicked out or killed if they do. Khorne doesn't really appeal to them because he is more about just pure bloodshed compared to the boyz love of a good ol' fight.

Half of what you've described makes more sense for a sect of the Adeptus Mechanicus that tends towards the unorthodox viewpont on the subject of innovation.
Marines doing RnD is like panzer tanks being used as family cars. A bizarre and sensless missuse of resources. Moreso given proximity to the Eye of Terror as they wouldn't even have the points of not constant war that chapters like the salamanders see, that affords them the ability to more closely interact with the people of their homeworld.

Each player has a custom avatar, with voice mod software so they can sound more like their characters.
The virtual 'table' is given the most detail, so you can actually zoom in and look around whatever maps and materials the DM prepared

So my friend wants to play a half vampire tiefling in a 1 on 1 campaign however in my setting such a creature would be immediately lynched/valiantly slain by a paladin. my question is how do i make this fun for the player while making sure everything stays in line thematically (basically as the races are described in the phb and monster manual is how i treat them)

Also I'd tell him not be be such a snowflake edgelord but it's a single person campaign so he can have fun with it. I'd still advise voicing your concerns to him, but also try to be accommodating if he's gonna be really austistic about it.

Tell him what the opinion of the population in your setting of such a creature would be, then talk with him about what kind of campaign he would find fun in such a setting. Maybe it is finding other "downtrodden" creatures and creating an alliance to take over the kingdom. Maybe it is a campaign where he runs and hides from the inquisitors coming after him. Maybe it is both.
Talk to your players and find what they find fun. Make some compromises in your setting if you have to - its just a 1 on 1...

OP here so considering how the populace would see the character should i go a more be subtle route talking to and making alliances with other outcast/dangerous groups bandits goblins and the like and if he pushes stuff with locals maybe an adventurer comes to try and deal with this "abomination"
I'm playing 3.5 campaign as an archer and I cannot decide what animal companion to pick. I am a Changeling so I can change into any race. Any suggestions
What book is the archer class in? Is it like the ranger?
I recommend elf girl. They can learn pretty nice tricks like Make Coffee and Polish Armor.
