I don't know what I want, closure, reunion, or what, but everything in my body is telling me to give it one last go. I don't think I'll be able to fully move on until I do.

Best thing I did after breaking off a two year relationship was find someone else in a similar position and fuck each other to sleep every other night until we'd got over our respective ex's. Texting and phoning etc helps that side of the withdrawal, but somewhat blurs boundaries

Socially acceptable? To some people it is, to others it's not.
But the real question is: why would you want to date an 18 year old? If you have enough in common to have a relationship right now, it probably means that either she's had to grow up super quickly, which comes with baggage, or that you're super immature for your age, which doesn't bode well for the relationship, or both.
Not to mention you're probably at completely different points in your life, which may not seem a big deal now, but will be later. She'll mature and change, like you did when you were in your late teens/early 20s. You'll begin to want to settle down, when she just wants to enjoy being in her 20s. There are far too many issues with an age gap like this at this time in your lives

It's pretty dope cause I can see it out the window and it's got all these cool ramps and catwalks everywhere.
The thing is one of the cats recently got hurt or really misses its owner or something cause it makes this atrocious screaming noise like it's in pain every night and it wakes me up.

I'm already taking a full 12 credit course load with three classes.

just graduated high school and I'm on my way to college. I'm really awkward and I find it hard to talk to strangers. What should I do to meet new people and all that?
Alright so here's the deal anon: nobody else in your freshman class has any friends either. They want to meet people too. AND, everyone likes it if someone else does the work for them. SO here's your mission from me: if there's a freshman weekend or whatever, whatever you do, WHATEVER IT IS, you ALWAYS invite people to come with you. Second part of your mission is to try to explore as much of campus as possible. So: "Hey, I was going to go check out the library, want to come?" "Hey, do you want to go try to find the gym?" "Who wants to get something at the cafe?" "Did you see this building on the campus map way out in this corner? I don't know what the hell it is but let's go try to get in there!" You say this stuff to anybody. Doesn't matter if you've even been talking to them. They're shy and alone too. It's super flattering to get invited to things. Grab them, get them to join your party.
Trust me. Just make that effort and people will be really glad you did, because that means they don't have to. Then when you're going wherever you ask questions and talk to people. Soon you've got friends.
