Some weeks ago she invited me to eat at some place and she paid for it, then I did the same to her. Just recently I had sexual relationships with her and asked her to be my gf but she said no, as in prefers to be friends with benefit. And now she is constantly asking me to buy her clothing and other stuff here and there. Could this be a gold digger? I mean I'm very biased if I had to say no... I am considering going to Alaska, exactly like Into The Wild stuff, only diference is that I plan on coming back two or three years after starting this 'expedition' of mine.
I plan on going as soon as I finish Highschool. So I figured I'd stop by to ask for advice on engaging this adventure.

Alaskan here. You'll last 3 weeks tops before search and rescue personnel have to airlift your bitch ass to Anchorage for medical attention. If you want to go camping, that's great. We welcome you. But don't try any of this survivalist bullshit.

It's a numbers game. Just keep applying. Do volunteer work in the meantime to put on your resume.
Reaching out to them in person or over the phone could hurt your chances. One of my old bosses would automatically not hire someone if they repeatedly called the store wanting to know about the status of their application.
Hey /adv/. I have a problem with my boyfriend, I need some outside input. So we're in a LDR, and he has stopped texting/skyping/snapping me altogether. I went to go visit him this summer and it was all good, but there were multiple instances where he acted like he didn't care about me in front of his friends and that kinds hurt. Not any major stuff but for example we were sitting around playing video games and I told him I mighy come see him in July if he wants, and he looked and his friends and said "yeah,yeah,yeah whatever" dismissively.

My grandma just had a stroke. She is 70 years old. Last time I talked to her a couple days ago she was fine. This morning when the ambulance came, she was able to walk with the paramedics' help and she was able to move (no paralysis from what I could tell). She did say a few words clearly as well, but she just had this blank stare on her fave. I'm scared right now. Can anybody tell me what to expect and if she will recover?

with strokes there is what's called the golden hour, time is brain lost so if the medics arrived early enough they would have been able to administer medications to stabilize her condition and take her to a hospital where she would be treated further. If this was all done within an hour the effects of the stroke can be mostly reversed.
Full left sided paralysis, aphasia, and dementia usually only happen when someone didn't get treatment within that timeframe.
The fact that she can walk and talk is a fantastic sign. My grandmother had a stroke last year and while they acted quickly and got medical attention, she can only do minimal stuff with her right arm, needs the help of a walking frame to walk, and can't talk properly. As far as someone who has suffered a stroke goes, your grandmother is probably in the top 1%, if not higher.

Today we happened to be at a coffee break at the same time and I get a call to go work the upstairs storage. He asks me if I've ever worked there before, and when I say no, he drops whatever he had been doing before his break and leads me upstairs and takes a full hour to instruct me how to do the things.

There's really no way to tell unless you ask someone who knows him really well. Girls were very hesitant to date/talk to me in high school because everybody always said I flirted with everyone. The only way you could have figured out if I was probably if you asked an ex of mine.
