The problem is that she always says she makes enough money for both of us, so I would never have to work. Surgery recovery question
I just had an appendectomy a week ago today and I'm finally starting to feel better, aside from the fact that I'm feeling paranoid, and when I try to sleep my arms and legs are restless. Driving is also challenging for me now since I start to panic for no reason as soon as I get behind the wheel.
These aren't common feelings for me normally, is this a result of the surgery?

Appendicitis can be a frightening experience at best. An emergency appendectomy can make it all the worse
This panic you're having may be the result of surgery, but it's not a common result of surgery. Go back to your doctor and explain what's been going on. Sounds like an acute stress reaction to me, that usually passes in 1-2 weeks. But don't let this brew over into something more like PTSD
Oh, and stop driving in the meantime. You don't want to knock a kid over because you're having a panic attack
And if that won't put you off driving, at a minimum, make sure you can do an emergency stop without the seatbelt causing you to hesitate as it puts pressure on your wounds

It feels like I'm doing something wrong or something's about to happen. I'm worried I'm drinking too much water, or eating too much/not enough.
It was an emergency surgery, however my appendix hadn't burst yet so they got it out at right time. My boss is making me go to work this week, and I have half a mind to tell him to fuck himself since I work a somewhat physically demanding job, but I digress.

Recommendations for work usually focus on going back when you feel comfortable. Ask for less physically demanding roles for a week or two (if your boss is likely to refuse that, a doctor can request that for you in the form of an advisory note, at least in the UK)

The few that I've had were a bit odd. Sort of incorrect sensations, or missing sensations. It's not really like some virtual world you're just the god of. You can influence what you dream about to an extent, but you can't really just do whatever you want. Even subconscious thoughts factor into what happens.

I moved into an apartment 6 months ago, right next door to my boyfriend's Muslim coworker. Ex-coworker now, but my boyfriend really liked him and I feel bad for not making a better effort to meet and talk. There aren't many Muslims in my town, probably 20 or fewer based on this guy's own estimation. No mosque or center or anything. I wanted to get him something for Eid to be kind, but I have very little money and it's very near. To make things worse, I haven't got to meet him like we planned.
So I thought I'd get a small gift and/or a handwritten card in which I express my regret that I haven't reached out for coffee and a discussion about great nihilist authors (his favorite before and still after his reversion), and say I hope he and his sons are well. Is that weird or would it be a nice gesture? What should I say about the holiday/what is an appropriate way for a non-Muslim to give well wishes? He got back from settling his father's estate in Palestine a few months ago and I don't want to add stress, just say "hey sorry we haven't met up, I still want to try your coffee and chat, ps your sons are very good young men and also hope Ramadan was good and your Eid al-Fitr is good too." But less brusque without also being too stiff. Never wrote a neighbor a letter before.

Why did he start looking up to me? i have no clue. I'm a Shut in who goes to his local game store every Thursday for a match of 40k, and occasionally goes fencing on Tuesdays.
Outside of my work routine, i don't really leave the house for anything but food or emergencies.
But this kid saw me playing 40k and must have thought i was something special. and wont leave me be.

As a teacher, quite a few kids look up to me.
I know if they were aware of my 4chan habits, my weed habits, the way I treated girls in high school, whatever it is, then not only would I garner the status of negative role model, but also I'd be letting a lot of people down.
As long as the kid somehow looks up to you, make sure you maintain the attitude in which you wish you were treated. If so, you can likely help this kid out, even if you don't directly argue to him about religion, or ever discuss anything truly meaningful. Just being a good person around him will lead to positive things.

I reflect on my behavior every night before I go to bed. I think about things I could've said better or shouldn't have said. I allow myself to feel embarrassed for a moment and then make a note not to do that thing again.
