So why the hell were the rebels renamed "the resistance" when they're clearly the neo-republican military?
Did Abram's not want the good guys to be called "the Republicans"?
Also, why did both sides leave all their big warships at home during this very critical battle?
>when they're clearly the neo-republican military
they aren't. they are probably space mujahedeen in the 80ies Afghanistan war.
>Also, why did both sides leave all their big warships at home during this very critical battle?
Jew Jew hates militaristc stuff (like all from his race), so he added only one token, boring battle.
Oh, and a casual genocide.

Can't find any info, doesn't exist. Who made it up?
>they are probably space mujahedeen in the 80ies Afghanistan war.
I'd say they're more like WW2 Soviet partisans in space.
What happened?

Adam Sandler.
/thread
What did he have to lose?
How was the CGI? I might see it tomorrow morning.
It's alright ayy
>>63807095
Distracting. All the practical stuff was so great that when fully CGI characters appeared it took you out of the movie a little like in the special editions
>>63807182
Did it feel real like the original trilogy? Everything felt like they really existed. Massive ships and giant sets.
The prequels felt fake like a game.
literally zero iconic quotes
memes don't count

Probably something from Han

James & Mike's Star Wars Force Awakens opinions..
James
>Loved Han Solo's Death
>Doesn't understand New Hope because Tatooine and Dantooine sound similar.
>Thinks Yoda is has gone crazy on Dagobah
Mike
>Thought Han Solo should have died a more heroic death
>Explains that Leia was trying to send R2D2 to Alderaan but it exploded so it went to Yavin.
>Explains...

Ah I see. And I wouldn't be surprised if Disney releases new EU old republic animated movies. Sort of how DC has a ton of animated stuff.
ITT: Films that no one younger than the age of 30, will understand
This movie is just Fight Club packaged for people who don't need to be meme'd to enjoy things
>>63806630
This movie is dumber than the new Star Wars.
HUMBERT LEARNS!

How the hell does this guy land a hit on a force-user?And how the hell does a girl that just discover force literally few hours earlier best a dark-side user that's trained from childhood? And isn't the entire plot a rehash of IV? This is obviously Disney's effort to simply up the merchandise sales with a safe bet; they know where the $$$ is at.

>How the hell does this guy land a hit on a force-user?
Swing a bat around enough you're bound to graze something.
>And how the hell does a girl that just discover force literally few hours earlier best a dark-side user that's trained from childhood?
Dark Side user can't even shoot lightning out of his hands yet. All he has is choke and push.

rey is a mary sue and finn has plot armor
any other explanation is from tumblr fanboys who will try to defend rey
They gave enough plot for it, at least for me, to not be that big of a problem
Hit pretty hard in his rib area and he may still have had that faltering will to the dark side even after killing his father. Rey was more determined in accepting the force and using it than Ren was because he was trained in the light and just converted
Where's the rlm episode? I need them to provide more of their amazing insight such as
>the movie was "fun"
>it was better than the prequels
>what did you think jay?
>i enjoyed it mike
>>63806451
>People hope it'll be plinkett tier
They'll say it was mediocre competent movie, fun but that's about it, nothing really special, and that's essentially bad for Star Wars
Cue jokes, Rich Evans acting and the theme song at the end.
There, I just saved you 55 minutes
>Jay: I thought it was boring, just a rehash of A New Hope, J.J. has no sense of...
>Mike: OY VEY HOW DARE YOU QUESTION STAR WARS I THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT, IT WAS FUN, AT LEAST IT WAS BETTER THAN THE PREQUELS GEEZ YOU DON'T FUCKING LIKE ANYTHING YOU STUPID GOY
>Jay: i-i-it wasn't that bad.
RLM are the living embodiment of the smug, detached Gen-X ethos.
I'd venture to guess none of them has felt a single sincere conviction about anything since childhood. They exist as polyps upon the colon of culture, satiating themselves on the perceived failures of others (i.e. "The Man") while adding nothing new to the discourse aside from ironic complaint.
They're a group of insecure, lost, rapidly aging burnouts who silently believe they could do a better job of making films than the professionals in the industry. Yet they lack the ambition...
