You are the former United States Navy warship USS HOEL, now returned as a shipgirl and ready to kick Abyssal ass!
You sigh as you lean back, letting the warm water of the repair dock flow over your body and up to your chin. Funnily enough, it seemed that the repair dock for shipgirls was basically just a really big hot tub. Apparently, there were "additives"...

The repair bay was honestly a rather plan looking facility. There was a single large communal pool in the center of the room. On one side of the room were a line of smaller pools, more suited to small groups of may six or so people. On the other side, there were a couple rows of even smaller pools the size of bathtubs, no doubt for shipgirls who wanted to bathe alone. Then there was a door that led to the showers and dressing rooms. In between it all were floors and walls made of nothing but sterile white tile, and...

Would the Borg be able to assimilate Tyranids? If so, would the Tyranids be able to adapt to and negate assimilation and its effects?
I don't know how this will end, I just know the result will be fucking horrifying.
The borg only work with humanoid species so I'd say no.
Borg can assimilate Nids
Can Nids adapt around it? It depends.
Is Tyranid adaptation a conscious act, or a reflex built into their biology?
If it is dependent on conscious thought, then no.
If is is reflexive, then maybe.

“And in a stunning display and grit and determination, Kat and Alvin have won the match!”
You walk off with Devon. Once you’re clear from the crowd’s view you head directly to the Pokemon center. The league has many, spaced all over the place and with very alert and ready staff. They take your Pokemon and quote only a few minutes. The nurse, seeing your face and apparently not the match, assures you your Pokemon will be fine.
“That was an interesting match.” You turn to see Robin’s mom. She’s wearing a wide brimmed hat and large sunglasses.
“Violet,”...

Marcel shoveled the last piece of earth onto the grave. She was buried with all his failures to save her. He had shaved his head in the tradition his people, but felt no lighter. Inside their home the Alchemist had a noose waiting for him, but no amount of drink could take him to it. So he sent a letter to the guild for some high risk/high pay work and waited.
After eight days of staring at the rope a response came with another letter. Marcel's friends had noticed his request and demanded that he took someone familiar with him on this quest.

In nearly every fictional modern day based magic society they have a shitty system for dealing with 'Normies'; the Beaumonts had the right idea.

This is how I Axiom Daevic with the mech piloting feat.
So, anybody haves the pdf of Races of the Inner Sea?
Would like to see the stuff it haves for the less know or popular options, like fetchlings and androids.
How do you like your "creatures made from darkness stuff"?
They were kinda cool in gravity rush

Swarming, all-consuming, and most importantly; absolutely fearful of the light.
Belief shapes the 40k world and warp. Those who believe in the emperor strong enough become empowered by him, such as the SoB and their saints, becoming manifestations of their own belief empowered by the Emperor.
Could the Admech belief in the emperor being the Machine god have a similar effect? Or could the Emperor start taking on aspects of the machine god?
Can the emperor speak to machine spirits? Or even that the Admech's belief makes the machine spirits real (and not just ai)?
I mean, if supposedly the majority of humanity believes that machine spirits are real, and in turn they are subservient to the Emperor, surely there would be an effect on the warp?
>>43629668
Well first of all, the Emperor is not the Machine God, but only the high ranking Admech even know this. The rest believe they're a duality.
Next, are you suggesting the SoB and saints operate on Ork magic? Because in universe, the Emperor is indeed what empowers these things.
So combining this, the answer is no, the emperor does not speak to machines, because machines are not his domain. Humans are, and only humans.
>>43629741
>the Emperor is indeed what empowers these things.
Did he every empower anyone like this before he ascended? Because that would have been another nail in the shitty coffin of "no I'm not a god really, this flaming sword was from dad"
Do aliens such as greys ever work as a race/antagonist/plot point in fantasy settings like D&D? Anyone have any experiences with them? I feel like they'd be a pretty interesting curve ball to throw at my players; something outside the normal villains you see in fantasy campaigns.
>>43629281
Ever heard of White Plume Mountain? It's a D&D module going clear back in the greybeard era where a flying saucer is crashed in a D&D world. the adventure goes up against rogue robots, mutant monsters, and alien plant monsters.
As for the Grey proper: there's a monster whose stats are in both d20 modern and the first D&D monster manual who are tall, grey-skinned humanoids with big eyes. They are shapechangers, and really fucking evil, and i can't remember their names.
>>43629281
The only "safe" way to do it is to have them be a "progentior" or ancient visiting race, that either no longer exists on the planet or is in such an extremely small concentration that they have no influence in global affairs. For whatever reason, they were unable to leave the world, so they were forced into some sort of hiding.
Have them be technologically advanced, but everything is beginning to fall apart, and the big, cool stuff isn't working anymore, meaning they're having...
