Is it possible for a game to still work when a player is dating the GM?
I accidentally scheduled date night and game night for the same time and gave my players the choice of skipping the week or me inviting my GF to play a dropin. Most of them said invite her along. She's played with most of them before (I was a PC, not the GM last time we all played together).
I don't want to fuck this up for her OR my regulars. Any advice or anecdotes from games you've GM'd, played in, or observed?

If she's somewhat experienced, everyone's gonna be too caught up roleplaying to give a shit. If anyone flirts OOC feel free to call them out on it though.

Well, if it's her first time and she's usually not into the stuff, treat her like a new player, and go a little easy on her. If she's done it before, give her a tiny bit of a bigger spotlight to get her into the group, then treat her like a normal player.

Just treat her like a regular player and have her treat you like a regular GM and it's fine. Problems only occur when she gets special treatment.

None of them stopped, but you had a plan to stop some, if not all of them. Fighting is your strongest talent, thus a plans born in battle are the most common.
The first guy to reach your line of defense was the mook; he seemed light on his feet, and even wore shoes specialized for running. Despite his advantage in speed, he was not so good at dodging you as you reached out to grab him as he tried to run by. Taking hold of him as he moved you redirected his momentum into the group of oncoming thugs, even running them into a the Mohawk guy who broke away to give chase....

Been playing for quite a while, but finally started branching out with other missions.
Did the Relic today, and I'm just curious; can it be contested? It says it's an objective, but it really feels weird. If it can, does that mean that a unit with obSec can actually control it, while it's in the hands of another, non-obSec unit?

You can tell the one pulled from the ground is about to jet off to rejoin the group dogpiling Phanty.
Do we let him go back or try to take on three ghosts on our own in a surprise attack? Do we let him go back THEN attack the two ghosts? Do we talk in order to get information and hope that Phanty can provide us with a a more opportune opening?

Hey /tg/ I made a snap decision a little while ago and bought 4 copies of Sphinx tutelage for a weird blue black white idea i had but scrapped later. I was thinking about what to do with them and I kinda wanted to through them into a blue black red madness deck for casual play... what other cards would you suggest to help me out besides just red "draw card then discard a card" cards? any ideas to transistion away from mill and more into madness/ both players discard?

Sarkhan the Dragon speaker, Avaricious Dragon for balls deep card play. There is one card from dragon's maze that makes everyone discard their hand at their end phase, too. I kinda wanted to play a crazy, edge of your seat deck like that.

I'd consider running RUB control/draw with Sphinx as one of the win cons along side them drawing too much.
Run things like Dark Deals, Faithless looting, and Volcanic Insight for draw while using stuff like Murderous Cut, Lighting bolt, remand, and so on for control.
